Does anyone know how well sushi is absorbed? It’s raw food, so I was wondering.
Raw food is absorbed very well. Sushi carries parasites though as does all raw fish. If you eat it alot do a good parasite cleanse once in a while.
On a related note, I’ve recently been eating a Thai salad that consists of raw beef, onions and herbs. Is raw beef ok to eat occasionally?

raw beef is fine In fact beef tarter (ta-ta) was invented by a guy that had a long time regular customer in his resturant that was trying to loose weight and it worked great for him.
I like this vietnamise (sp) place where they slice half frozen beef thin and then pour boiling fish stock over the beef
it is cooked but only like half flash cooked and it is wonderful.
sushi is also great I tend to not be as bloated after a meal when it is sushi I personally eat sashimi about 3 times a week when i can anyways finances and all.
but again if your not used to eating it normaly then limit it because it can make you sick after a while.
