Thank you, @s.gentz, my feeling is, basically peace. Now I began to pay attention for the real aspects a father and a worker needs to dedicate some time.

In the past I devoted a huge time in apps, spreadsheets, meal plans, scales, etc. This time was usually increased due to some extra meal, forcing me to apply new adjustments. And, after a mon-fri interval struggling with this, I usually messed up during weekends.

So, right now is peace, my brother.

Great progress brownbear. You built a habit. I can tell you from my own experience that it will be hard to go back to anything else once you got to this point.

For example, I lost another kg without trying after my diet because it is normal now not to stuff so much food down my throat. Also, the stomach adapts relatively fast to diets.

I already began to have this feeling as a consequence of new habits.

Dr. Maltuz on the 1950’s described some experiences with his patients and stated that “it takes at least 21 days to someone begin to adopt a new habit”[1]. People rapidly removed the ‘at least’ part and began to repeat the 21-day mantra. This was my #1 problem: according to the mantra, 21 days was not necessary for me.

In a 2010 study[2], researchers decided to investigate this ‘adopt a new habit’ time, and discovered some useful numbers too: it takes from 18 to 254 days to be used to a new habit and such time is related to individuality as well as the new habit itself. They even got an average time: 66 days. And this was my problem #2: the examples they chose to monitor were all sweet tiny things (chosen were ‘eating a piece of fruit with lunch’, ‘drinking a bottle of water with lunch’ and ‘running for 15 minutes before
dinner’). None of such habits was a caloric deficit diet, which is physiologically, really, in fact, uncomfortable.

I noticed in practice my new habit was already settled on the day #45. I such day I binged (the only day I cheated on this 60-day period) at night. It was a kitchen-muckbang, nothing ordered by delivered. In the next morning, I woke up without an old desired to continue the self-destruction. I just returned to the my diet and nothing has happened. For example, today is Sunday and I do not feel something to eat in a differently from my other days.

Two months completed yesterday.
Some results:

At day #45 I binged. Coffee + 420 mg caffeine + some emotions…

Macros, fibers, blah, blah, blah…


The difference betwen total carbs minus fibers still keeps me on the ketogenic zone.

Waist Line x Bodyweight


The combination between bodyweight and waist line helps me to monitor some plateau event. According to this, I had zero plateaus* during this 60-day period.
*Let’s define a plateau as a 15 day period without bodyweight or waist line changes.

My initial goal: current status in % reached

Definitely, my testo levels are making things more difficult than they are. I am doing a respectable deficit, which could promote at least 15 kg (33 lb) in 60 days of weightloss. But, ten years oscillating between 280 and 310 ng/dL is charging this price: to promote a slow fatloss. I will resist to TRT a little more, so let’s see what can I get without it.

I did not reach a 15 kg weightloss, but my 10,6 kg (23 lb) is also acceptable for my aspirations. To be honest, I am enjoying the process and began to be less anxious about ‘what if I cannot reach my scale number this week?’.
