I feel bad in practically every workout. My workouts are based in heavy compounds, squats and DLs. I do train with intensity but it is not like throwing up. Anyone know why?
your diet, sleep, breathing.
make sure you eat enough (of the right stuff)
get enough sleep
make sure your breathing is correct during your lifts.
my first two guesses would be 1) proper breathing on every rep 2) don’t drink anything but water during or before workout
diet and sleep are in check, i think breathing is my problem, i figured that if I grunt I don’t feel sick… thats help already. I also figured that I dont feel sik if my Pre W is liquid, anyone know why?
eating solid food right before you lift (RIGHT before) isn’t always good b/c its not digested…and might come up.
grunting doesn’t mean you won’t feel sick lol, it just means you can lift more!
for eating solid food i wait at least 2 hours before the workout to get it out of your stomach and into your intestines
^^^ Not the most ideal idea. Not the worst idea either, though. Because let’s say your workout is two hours, that puts your two meals atleast 4 hours apart.
Oh, and also, I’ve thrown up myself (and for the most part, I have a stomach of steel) after drinking protein shakes up to an hour before working out. My friend has the same problem. If you drink shakes before you workout, try not to and see how you feel. Other than that, just hope this little period of workout-sickness passes.
i eat my chicken/rice about an hour before i work out.
everyone is different.
find your way.
