I’ve been reading about power cleans for a few weeks including the excerpt on TMuscle by Bryan Krahn. Although there are ppl who learn w/o a coach, I can’t help but feel that it would be soo much more beneficial if I could find a coach to learn from.
So, do u guys suggest finding a coach or is self-learning via books and articles sufficient enough? Also, I’ve been trying to find an O-lift coach online and it’s not as easy as finding your closest best-buy, so could anyone give me links to narrow my search. Thank You.
Douglas Sekone-Fraser got 4th at the Arafura Games (Commonwealth U20) and he isn’t coached. His Dad was a powerlifter, showed him the basic lifts and he’s coached himself.
Tychver, agreed, BUT compare that to the majority of cases. The people that are self taught or taught but non knowledgeable coaches in regards to Olift shows.
OP the % are stacked against you. I know of one guy that is self taught that has pretty sharp technique. The other guys are either so so or just beyond the basics. It does take years to master.
