Assistance work day is usually used to address your weaknesses. When you are underweight and just lacking overall muscle, it’s going to be your primary weakness, so the assistance days are designed for volume and overall hypertrophy.
I would say its a good program for anyone who is a beginner, or weights under ~170 at average height. just pulling these numbers out of my ass.
Remember, its basically a beginner overall conditioning program to get the body used to moving weights, build up some work capacity, and grow enough muscle to work with when you hit the really heavy shit later. you also perfect your form.

that makes sense but im still confused.
IS the top workout its own thing?
as in I would do the upper assistance once a week and lower body assistance once a week that thats it for the week. I would do that for like 2-3 months to gain muscle ect? And then when I think its time I would start the other workout that involves ME by itself?
Do u know what I mean?
Sounds reasonable, Mr. Bravo Monster, but you may find you like a day of rest after ME work. Anything works, just give it a shot, don’t be afraid to change it if you dont like the scedule. you might look at elite’s articles FAQ for some sceduling, just replace the DE days with more assistance work.
do them all in the same week like you have written above.
think of the assistance template as a replacement for the more common DE days used in westside.
