How to Push Past Set Points on BF

Oh Im pretty sure Im still burning fat… I think machines & calipers asside Im probably in the 11-13% range which is cool for now. Untill I stall Im not changing anything right now Im consitantly loosing 1-2 lbs per week and looking bigger & leaner month by month in mirror. Millimeters keep going down so that tells me some loss must be accuring. I have my wife do the calipers that way I cheat as little as possible. As far as Hams go I can see them pretty easy if thats what you mean.

Just wondering if you have made anymore progress. Need more updates!

4/ Fasted steady state cardio is the WORST training method for losing bodyfat… infact THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM. Give up that worthless shitty training and start working harder on your weight training and REAL hiit training.

Fasted, low intensity cardio has a place in a fat loss program. Just how and when it’s applied is situational dependent.

I do empathize with your disgust at many of the posters on this site. Most of them just parrot what they’ve read from an equally idiotic author or another poster. These people really should dedicate their time posting amusing jokes on frivolous sub-forums such as GAL.

However, within each individual sub-forum, there are few (very very very few) individuals who actually have both the training as well as the empirical knowledge to give advice that is - at the very least - worthy of consideration.

Thanks 56x11 not sure exactly what you mean, but I found jskrabacs help to be spot on…And with those subtle tweaks I started seeing better trackable weekly progress.

To answer RyuuBane - Yes I was able to get down to 10.3 or 10.8% BF which was enough for me to be happy with…
That was around 6/28 I hit that goal now Im 179lbs at 10.8-11.6% BF (based on caliper test by wife & pulse machine)
Right now Im just maintaing Enjoying the summer and being sensible with diet and staying in the gym…Im actually having some fun with the Wolverine workout from mens fitness magazine…Basically following the AD at 12xbw with 2 carb days. I tend to like to 1) Cut Feb-June 2) Maintain July -Oct 3) Bulk Nov-Jan

I wasn’t singling out jskrabacs.

I was merely responding to kiwiimn’s comments regarding fasted/low-intensity cardio. I can easily write 1000 words or more on the subject defending my stance. But I’d rather get my Sunday MLB fix and then hit legs. I do, however, agree with kiwiimn that this and other sub-forums are crawling with wanna-be experts who do little more than parrot what they read (either from an article or from another poster).

BOL with you goals.

Hebrewhero, good job on your progress and happy to hear you met your goals. I have a couple questions if you don’t mind.

  1. You stated your TRT. You were able to get the doctor to prescribe both Cyp and HGH? Or the HGH is bonus material?

  2. At the start of the thread you stated you weighed 180lbs at 13-14% bodyfat. Now you are 179 lbs at 10.5% bodyfat. So in two months, if I understand correctly you lost 5 lbs of fat and gained 4 lbs of lean body mass? How long have you been on TRT? Usually people don’t 4 lbs while dieting.

  3. How is your shoulder, are you fully/partially recovered and back to working on that again?

  1. I found a med spa in my area that was doing TRT and HRT… They pretty much let me design my program… They offerd the HGH and I gladely accepted but as popular as it is now at Med spas its easy to get. Lots of women are using it for anti aging  So what I run is 100mg Test cyp & 3iu 5days per week HGH Call your local med spas and ask if the have a “wellness” program

  2. Probably more like 11% at 180 now but during that time I pumped up to 4ius HGH 5/2 and 250mg Test cyp also during my cut I was eating 50% protien, 45% fat 5% carb with only 1 carb day per week. I think the HGH really pumped up protien synthesis but I cant prove it. Also this was my first time back on the weights in 1yr so I think I had some muscle memory gifts… TRT 1yr ish

  3. Much better Id say 95% I still have soreness in my AC joint lots of clicking/popping I cant press for shit yet but I just started doing direct chest work 2 weeks ago
