So… basically she could be almost 10% male?
Either you would hit that, even if she had a 10 inch Python hidden somewhere or you are probably gay.
NTTAWWT, but since you would be gay either way, I would hit that like Mjolnirr, the hammer of Thor.

^problem? This is a pretty serious question though. And I’m not afraid to say that being/appearing manlly is important to me. I dont want to be a punk or a douche but I always have to ask my self what the correct /manly level of escalation is.
Someone insults you. Do you A) Ignore? (sounds not manly) (too tough to be phased style manly)
B) Insult back with a better insult (More manly)(childish)
or
C) Punch them in the throat (manliest)(barbaric and not civilized)
This isn’t about insulting me, its about insulting someone’s children. I don’t know how old the kids were you called fat, and it doesn’t matter, but that’s definitely a dick move. I am manly, but not stupid.
The very act of asking whether or not something is or is not “manly” is not masculine at all. It’s not feminine either, it’s just insecure.

what the fuck am I watching? Steve Jobs isnt dead? He is in the movie Tron. LMAO.
I feel like I am no longer a douche after watching and listening to Dom. On account of not being nearly on the same level of him.

nah man. I think its necessary nowadays. And on this site of all places should be the best. I dont know how old you are but I’m 23 and grew up with some damn feminine contrtolled culture. Like, every kid is a winner, no playing pokemon at school cause its like gambling, Jersey shore. All the wrong messages. Rap. Tap out shirts. I dont buy into any of that but I always get my chops busted for having too much testosterone.
I would try being like Dirty Harry style manly but that shit doesnt fly nowadays does it? Nope.

batman: I put the two different ways each response could be taken manly or not manly. I was just trying to illustrate that no matter what you/I do it could be taking either way.
Upon reading your post again, I see what you did there. Apologies.
Still sounds like you’re approaching this primarily in terms of how you’re actions will be perceived by others as opposed to how they reflect your core values.

I agree that “manly” is an inherently stupid word. I just used it as “the exact opposite of effeminate” from Gabby’s post about punching people in the face, which is what got me started.
In the absence of clear, real male role models and any form of effective initiation into adulthood, it seems to me that young guys are forced to consciously consider how a man “should” act as opposed to just being one. This is a less than ideal approach IMO, but it is what it is.
Yes, does display insecurity. The insecurity that comes from not knowing how to be in the world, but if guys don’t think about/talk about it how are they ever going to figure it out? By watching Dirty Harry?

Exactly what I was getting at. You have a way with words. I picture you saying this while turning your head in a very batmanesque fashion and using a gruff voice.
Honey beer generally doesn’t taste like honey or even very sweet because honey is almost 100% fermentable, the yeast eat it all & make alcohol. Some brewers will wait until later in the process to add it if a sweet honey flavor is desired, but in general any honey based alcohol will be quite dry (mead included, love me a dry ass mead).

Did Canada break off of the continent?
Ok, that was a little douchy of me.

A fair point, geographically speaking. Actually it makes me wonder why U.S. folk are known as Americans while Canadians, Mexicans, etc. are not.

And Bond. Especially the character from the books.
I think a part of the problem is that guys today are just too over-reliant on social infrastructure for everything, but especially their sense of self worth. I think it’s very important for a man to be capable of self-reliance. To be part of society because they choose to be, but not because they need to be.
There’s nothing wrong with adjusting your behavior based on how people perceive you… the problem is when you adjust your sense of self-worth based on how people perceive you.
It’s unfortunate how things have morphed though. There are a lot of things people tell themselves that are manly (like, say, getting into a fight), that really aren’t. They think they’re being manly, when they’re really just being childish. You need the maturity too.
Sometimes the right move is to walk away. Sometimes it’s not. The mature manly approach is making the assessment of the situation, making a decision, following through with that decision, and dealing with the consequences whatever they may be.
But I would say culturing a sense of independence, self-reliance, resourcefulness, and just sheer perseverance would do wonders for most guys. If (when) the shit hits the fan, you need to know you can count on yourself.
Anyone that goes into a fight with the intention of looking like a man has never been to prison where all the ‘men’ go after they are tried for assault or murder.
1 hit kills are real but some lesser men need a beating once in their life and it takes a bigger man to walk away from that opportunity.

She has a face? Never noticed.
Seriously, I agree her face is pretty busted, but typical of the “fitness girls.”
They are usually 5-6s that work to get a 9+ body. Good for her. She clearly works hard.
