How to move forward in fitness journey?

Currently a sophmore in high school started wrestling freshman year and want to get into better shape so I can perform better in my sport and start to like the way I look. Beginning of this school year started lifting 4 times a week in my strength training class and have recently been wanting to put more effort in and start to eat a clean diet and go to an actual gym where I can really get strong and also get lean. Currently 5’7", 180 pounds. Should I be trying to get stronger or leaner in the short term if my goal by next November is to be as strong as I possibly can while still being lean? Also, I will be getting my first gym membership soon, what program/split should I follow?

With a goal of being strong and fit, I’d look into the Tactical Barbell series of programming. @ZMFitness has a log documenting his own progress, and he’s about your age.

For nutrition, I’d do everything in my power at your age to stay away from processed foods. The more the diet can be whole/minimally processed foods, the better. Endeavoring for .8g of protein per pound of bodyweight with that approach would put you in a good way.

Also, I strongly recommend removing the photos from our post. When you’re 21 and looking to start a career, you won’t want shirtless photos of you flexing at 15 on the internet.

Definitley right, should i just draw over my face? I feel like pictures would help with people giving advice since they can actually see my body

It’s your call how you want to handle the situation: I’m just lending my perspective there.

I’d prefer no shirtless pics of minors on the internet. We can give advice without it and you sure don’t need strangers commenting on your body.

Are you weight class constrained?

I was 180 last year and cut down to 165 and did the same thing for this season so I usally lose around 15-20 pounds during season then gain it back and no I am not weight class restrained.

Then I think you should just lift, do your conditioning, play your sport, and eat whole food meals. Strong and lean will come.
@T3hPwnisher recommended a solid program. I haven’t run it, but it’s big on the basics, which is the right answer pretty much all the time.
