Im moving to NYC from Europe. I want to have some place to workout on my own. Are there any New Yorkers who can tell me people how ppl in New York make their own gyms. I mean everybody know that there is no place for anything there. Its not hard to find a space for a gym in Ohio or Texas. So any advices? Im going to live in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Rent a small warehouse or anything like that? What you think?
Join a gym, should be some good ones in the area…

You’re going to the home of the New York Athletic Club…and you want to make your own gym. What is wrong with people.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
“…he comes to me for advices. And it is very easy for me to give him bad advices.”
Hey I got a bridge that Im willing to sell you in Brooklyn…you can work out on it.
WTF so i got a new job and recently moved into this city called Everett, WA and discovered the breed of large commercial gym that has pretty much everything you would want…except during much of the day the sheer volume of people in there renders them more or less unusable.
I have seriously never been in gyms before that are so insanely crowded.
The gym i used to go to in Blaine (population 5,000) i could pretty much walk in there and do whatever the hell i wanted. Then i had a park right next to my house and a highschool 7 blocks away that i could go and do sprints and stuff. Place im at now you have trouble even finding a patch of grass anywhere. Kind of blows a fat dick.
