How to Know What Ratios to Use?

Hey guys I’m confused on how you all know what ratios to use.
As in if I eat 3600 cals a day (which I am). I want to get 1.2g of protein per lb. BW. That’s 960 cals of protein and then I have to get the rest of the cals from either fats or carbs (obviosuly). But what if someone was getting 900g. of protein but only eating 2000…wouldn’t that be bad for you?
I also don’t understand how you guys break it up into. "I eat 25/50/25. Stuff like that I don’t understand how to match up it all up.

All I do is make sure I eat 1.2g protein, and then carbs or fats with each of my meals…is there even a point to look over that? Or if I just keep up with what I’m doing I’ll be fine.
I’m trying to learn nutrtion more and what I’ve realized is that:

If you want to gain mass you gotta eat a shitload of cals, make sure your protein intake is high…try to eat as clean as possible but at the end of the day it doesn’t matter too much as long as your getting protein and make sure your gettin in enough cals to get you bigger. So eat your heart out.

If you want to lean out keep the protein intake high, reduce cals/carbs.

If you want to maintain, still keep protein high and eat more comfortably. A blend of fats n carbs at meals and eat smaller portions.

How’s that all sound?

You lost me. Just eat protein with each meal. Include healthy fats.

Depending on your goals and how you handle carbs, include carbs.

The #s will work out for themselves for the most part. You might need to do some tweaking.

haha sorry…okay scrap everything but this…is this good baseline:

thanks!

separate your meals into pro/fat/veggies (optional) and pro/carb
