How to Keep People from Using Barbell

Ah, I woulda figured going with a power bar over a deadlift bar for an all in one. How do you find squatting with it? The lack of center knurling and whippy nature would drive me crazy, haha. Smaller diameter would smart a little on the bench too.

My bar has curling in the middle, my other’s didn’t. It is whippy on squatting, so it’s not my favorite. On bench, however, I can put up 15 more lbs using this bar / bench then a fat bench. I think it is the bench though I lay on, it is higher than standard.

You have a texas deadlift bar with center knurling? That’s just nuts. I wonder why they did that.

I have a Texas power bar, they are a little different I think.

Ah yeah, they’re very different, haha. When you said you had the same bar and were using it for all 3 lifts, I thought that was a little odd. I’ve got both at home; great pieces of equipment for sure. I don’t find the power bar all that whippy on squats, but I had switched primarily to the buffalo bar before I tore my ACL, so it had been a while.
