How to Combat Anti-Climate Change Fools

meteors are not part of the system but for the most part they have no consequences . I do not know if particle do escape earth but what is the consequence ? Do they even effect our system ?
Asteroid impacts whether you think they caused any mass extinctions or not HAVE happened on Earth (that is provable). I also guarantee you that they have impacted the climate by orders of magnitude more than humanity has in its entire history.

The molecules light enough to escape the atmosphere are hydrogen and helium. Two of like ten things that make up the atmosphere itself. So… relevant.

The issue is you are using the wrong examples to explain your definition of a system.

Where did water come from? Some believe that it was brought here by comets. So the entire atmosphere was brought here from some place else. Not a closed system.
I have never heard water was brought by comets and discussion on the origin of the Earth is way over our head.

To explain a system I will change from the Earth’s system to an Automobiles system which is comprised of many other smaller systems that make up what we call a car .

Lets say I knock out my wind shield , it has a function to shield the driver from wind . Yes a rock knocked out the window but it is not part of the system

And the car alone cannot be used to exclusively predict the performance of the car. Air quality, Gas Quality, and rocks that hit the windshield are all external components not accounted for the car systems. Hence, the system of the car is considered open when discussing performance. Outside factors significantly alter function.

I am assuming you are not telling me now that meteors are not effecting our system ? I would agree they have the ability but at present there is ZERO effect from meteors ?

And yes the car was designed to operate in certain parameters but the rock even through could have catastrophic effects the rock is not part of the system

I am trying to come up with an example that would fit what you are trying to explain, but I am coming up with Zero.

Every System I am thinking about has external factors or variables, so they are not closed systems, but open systems.

Maybe an ant farm in a closed box, but then you have to put food in there? This is tough.

Pittparrot is the posterboy for Occam’s Razor.

Long thread is long…did not read.

Climate change =/= global warming

Liberals and al gore have politicized it, trying to scare us into believing that the plant will burn up one day…but no one ever mentioned the chance that CLIMATE CHANGE could result in the earth turning into an ice cube.

climate change is 97% confirmed…how many scientists confirm that Global WARMING is real?? (Honest question)

Scare tactics by the left is nothing new

Inconvenient truth, CONVENIENT LIE

The only system that can be considered closed is one in which every possible external variable can be removed or canceled out. Like bubble boy.

If I were, I would. Well, then again there’s the whole law thing and not revealing to much about one’s self on the internet.
I have heard brilliant things and stupid things from high people. I don’t think high makes a difference on cognitive reasoning, sans the burnout.

But even Bubble Boy needed food and medicine from the outside. Nothing can be separate from everything. We all have external forces acting upon us.

there are some people that agree with you , what do you say to the majority of Scientists that disagree with you. The point of my argument is most people here can not even defeat pittttt on the subject let alone a Scientist

I know there are a lot of people that don’t like Wikipedia but there are many links here with an overview

Your perception of my intelligence is inversely proportional to the amount of THC levels in your blood.
