You are telling a freaking MONSTER that he got too fat…when you personally look like a beginner next to him. What attitude is involved in noticing maybe you need to listen to guys like that?
Have you seen a pic of Ryan? He doesn’t look like a ‘beginner’. lol
220 with abs is “beginner” now? Dang, I need a new hobby
Wait…so you missed that I said COMPARED TO BAUBER???

You have a guy who has built nowhere near the same size as Bauber telling him he got too fat.

Wouldn’t that be held for people who actually got that big or near it?
Well I guess it depends on the goals. Bauber doesn’t seem to have the same goals as you. He’s planning to do a cut and compete. So he’s obviously not just trying to be a big strong dude, but will at least temporarily care about being VERY lean.

So IMO, because the topic isn’t just concerning pure size, but a combination of size AND leanness, Ryan has every right to comment on whether he feels Bauber put on too much fat during his bulk.

That same logic that Ryan isn’t anywhere near Bauber’s size means he can’t comment on his BF%, means that because you’ve never been Ryan’s BF% you can’t ever comment on his size. lol

I plan to cut as well. Whether I compete or not is up in the air…so how is what he is doing different at all??

Ryan has never been anywhere near that big so how would he know what it takes to do that? Maybe he got as fat as he needed to…since I CAN’T SEE ANYONE ELSE WITH THAT SIZE WHO NEVER BULKED UP HERE.

Very bad analogy. It would mean I can not comment on his LEANNESS alone…and that isn’t what we are discussing here.

This is fun

Ridiculous. On a site like this, a guy the size of Bauber can get some guy the size of Ryan telling him he got too fat…when I don’t see anyone else that size who didn’t bulk up.

trying to defend that with more personal attacks is just crazy.

Lol yes you have to bulk up to gain that much fat so I agree there. Pure does not equal muscle. We will see what happens when he diets for the show.

He catch a lot more shit on a place like PM that has a ton of monsters there

It isn’t about the fat. It is about the muscle he built.

I have asked you before who on this site has gotten even near that big without bulking up.

There doesn’t seem to be anyone.

If that is what is producing big guys that size in majority…why would you claim it is “too much”?

I am done with this discussion. You cannot seem to realize size doesn’t equal muscle. You never will. The circles we are going in are just too much

I know Bauber has more MUSCLE and more SIZE than you…and you are telling him he did it wrong.

That makes no fucking sense on a site like this.

He has been doing it longer and he has been using AAS if he didn’t I would feel bad for him

Wrong answer.

If most of the people that size bulked up…and most of the big guys on this site bulked up…then how can a guy like you who has never been that size tell them they did it wrong?

he isn’t just “bigger” than you. He is carrying a shit load more muscle.

That doesn’t mean you haven’t accomplished anything…but the very fact that a guy like you even felt comfortable telling a guy like that he got too fat shows problem with YOU. No one else.

Then unlike the “posse”…he is man enough to speak for himself. Maybe you should ask him.

Further, isn’t just about what people say…but what they actually did to get that big.

I know TONS of guys who bulked up before who now claim they wouldn’t. I don’t plan on “bulking up” again. I have no reason to. I already did what needed to be done.

Thought this thread was about bulking for naturals…?

Not going to fuck with the multi-quote stuff. I’ll just go point by point.

 1. Aren’t we talking about Ryan and Bauber? Fine, you are also now in this category, of wanting a very large and very lean physique. Nice to have you aboard.

 2. Ryan wasn’t giving his opinion. The person Ryan referred to in previous posts who is roughly the same size as Bauber, who is also cutting but pretty damn lean already, gained without having to put on as near as much fat. There are people who’ve gotten to that size, without having to get that sloppy. Ryan was just giving his opinion, because they are BOTH going towards the same goal. To be BIG AND LEAN. So if Ryan, or anyone of impressive development, thinks one has drifted not done what’s best for achieving either of these goals, then they should? Like what’s the issue here with Ryan saying that?

 3. LOL yeah. We are all discussing a relation between size AND leanness. Ryan made a comment addressing Bauber’s bodyfat, correct? He’s lean, he should be able to do so in your eyes, considering one can’t really seem to have an opinion on a subject unless they personally have experienced it. Ryan didn’t comment on Bauber’s overall size I don’t think. So… he didn’t break your rule? Ryan DIDN’T make a comment on his size, and You CAN’T make one on anyone’s BF%. Cool

Especially since I’m sure Ryan wasn’t trying to say Bauber would’ve gained as much or more muscle if he acquired less fat but that he felt that Bauber accumulated too much fat for his cut. There’s a difference.

I wasn’t aware that was in question.

He was. That is why he said that Bauber gained too much fat.
Who??? It isn’t and never has been about carrying some specific amount of body fat…/.or gaining some amount of body fat.

It is about the approach…so until we talk to this guy you speak of, all of this is in the air.
There are people who’ve gotten to that size, without having to get that sloppy.
I don’t see Bauber as “sloppy”. If I saw him in the gym I would be very impressed with what he built. It matters little what you think of how fat someone got…and no one is saying that getting “sloppy” is necessary for growth. That is up to the GENETICS OF THE INDIVIDUAL.
Ryan was just giving his opinion,
You just said he didn’t give an opinion.

You are now saying ryan was making a statement that Bauber is too fat…to be Ryan’s size?

Wow…some of you will do anything to defend the “posse”.

He didn’t give an opinion…but he did.

That makes even less sense.

If Ryan has never held that much muscle, he would know nothing about how hard it is to lose fat at that size.

Losing body fat can be much easier the more muscle you carry.

What I find hard to get my head round is the fact that as a natural, most people who get serious start looking into how to “optimise their hormonal environment” for muscle growth, and spend a literal fortune on supplements that may or may not have physiological effects.

Lets take a hypothetical.

A natural trainee finds a natural supplement which is anti catabolic in muscle tissue. He has an unlimited supply and can take it every day. He takes it religiously. There are some side effects.

Will he gain more muscle than another natural trainee who doesn’t take the supplement? Lets say they are identical twins, eat the same number of calories and protein and train exactly the same.

Brick I’d like your answer to this particularly.
Captain no pics strikes again…preach on brother!!
Because pictures are a pre-requisite for logic and reason.

Geez I forgot.

Would you like a picture of my ass?
I have yet to see any logic from you
Heres YOUR Logic. A=Units of anabolism; B=Units of Catabolism; X1=Net muscle tissue accrual with no supplement; X2=Net muscle tissue accrual with supplement

With no supplement:

If A-B=X1 and is a positive number, then muscle tissue accrual is occuring.

With supplement:

If A-B=X2 and X2>X1 then no more muscle tissue accrual is occuring

Not very logical my friend.

If anabolism combined with anti-catabolism is so ineffective, why do all pro bodybuilders use drug regimes that maximise both anabolism and reduce catabolism?
Too much logic ryan? Looks like you turned tail and ran.
