About once a month, usually.
Although, I’m home visiting family and friends and I’ve likely drank more this week than I’ve drank in the last year, lol.
Open bar, open mouth.

lolz. I feel you. I needed a drink after reading through that monstrosity of a thread.
Wait… after?
I was the only one drunk posting in that thread?!

I’m watching the documentary: Inside Job, about the financial crisis in the US
I need a drink lol
Never. I got a DUI three years ago and never drank again.

I’m glad someone appreciates me.
I’ve never been much of a drinker but I used to binge on all sorts of stuff between 16 to 22. Over the last year I drink only red wine and probably 1 glass every 3 months, I’m just not much of a drinker. For me it’s always in a social setting and really depends on who I’m with - with my current work its one glass during company related dinners, many glasses with my ex-colleagues and wasted twice last year for my best friend’s wedding and bachelor’s night out.
Don’t drink or smoke anymore. Three years now. Visited a good friend this weekend and promised him I’d be up for anything–had a couple glasses of wine with a nice steak he made. Wasn’t about to turn the man down.
I used to drink 1-2x a week, 2-3 drinks each time. I went from beer to wine to tequila and then whiskey.
Never, I’m teetotal.
It wasn’t always like this, but I was just more of a casual drinker at most. Like, if going to a date then I’d have a drink, but that was it. Then I realized there was no point on it, it’s too expensive and the taste (except one specific drink) is nothing too special so I just quit.
Only got drunk once, when I was 16. It was one of the worst experiences of my life (due to many reasons) and that taught me a lesson.
2x a week, always Jack.
This thread is making want to drink now…great.

I’m not saying you should change your drinking habits here, but everybody that messes with booze ends up having at least one awful drunken night. Not to mention that being 16 years old and drunk is a recipe for disaster. There has never been a tolerable drunk teenager on this planet. You might have fun getting drunk as an adult with the right people.
Usually drunk once a week on either Thursday, Friday, or Saturday…Always Jack and beer (No, not mixed together).
An occasional few beers while watching a ball game…especially if I’m at the game.
An occasional beer or glass of wine with a meal…Not more than once a week, on average.
I quit drinking for a while almost two months ago. Probably never going to start again, and if I do, I’ll have something like a one or two drink limit. Never drank very often, but I was a serious binge drinker. Shit got messy basically every time I drank. So I decided to call it quits. Actually made a thread here about it haha.

It’s still not my thing though. I guess the issue was that my first drunk night was so awful and it also brought some revelations, like, “those guys you’ve known since you are 5 are not very nice friends”
I feel very, very uncomfortable in an environment with drinkers as well. I guess I’m out of the loop and I don’t find them funny at all, rather, annoying.
I’ll have whiskey on Tuesday or Wednesday night, my favorite being Booker’s bourbon…and Saturday it’s beer after working out or after my long run.
Even though I love whiskey, there’s something about a cold beer on a hot day that I love so very, very much.

I’d enjoy martinis every time we went out. However, I recently vowed to quit alcohol entirely. I thought it would be tough to socialize without at least one drink in my hand. But the last 2 outings were drink free, and it made no difference. I’m still the same boisterous, flirty, gregarious dwarf whether I drink or not.
But now I go home with money in my pocket.
Apart from the martini, this.
I drank a lot before getting into this fitness lark, (2-3 beers a night weekdays shitfaced Friday and Saturday) cut right down when I started training.
Very rarely drink at all now, still go to the pub a couple of times a week, but stick to water.
2-4 beers almost every Thursday. I like the taste of good beer. That’s just enough so I can still drive home without getting a DWI. Then every 6-8 weeks I get wasted with the guys. This might be at my house, a regular bar or strip club.
From age 17 to 28 I spent at least 4 days a week wasted. I got into a lot of trouble and spent over a $1,000 a month on partying in my 20’s (I kept track for a couple months). Life is so much simpler since I got past that bad habit. To date there are still a couple places I’m not allowed in lol.
My shrink said no more alcohol 9 weeks ago. I had a bit of a problem in the past, self-medicating and all. The last couple of months haven’t been as bad as I had anticipated, but it would be nice to have a beer or some wine with dinner occasionally.
before we moved it was maybe once per month 4-5 beers each time.
Now with a new house (bigger fridge too) it seems to be 3-4x per week and 1-2 each time.

And that is why you are my friend on here Nards.
3-4 nights a week according to the stress of the day. I limit it to a 2 drink minimum during the week, weekends with friends the wife and I will have a few more.
Only time I get drunk now is by accident, if I forget to eat. I will a lot of the times be the one cooking at the BBQ, and will be drinking due to the heat. I will put in a dip of snuff and before I know it can get dangerous. But I have learned.
