Agreed. Dumb. Happens after every election

Yeah, it was all Tina Fey’s fault.
This is retarded even for your relatively low standards JeffRo.
I guess it’s hard for most to believe that big business could evolve big enough to own most media outlets in the USA. And then to use those outlets to push, prod, advertise, propaganda, sway and hype their favorites.
Welcome to waking up in the most advanced propaganda making nation in the world. All nations do it, some are more transparent then others. But here we have it down to a science.
Poor Republicans, I did not realize that they lost because they were so helpless. The Republicans lost because they suck, all they can do is piss and moan about the Democrats. No new ideas telling us that conservative values are about screwing the poor and not about cutting expenses.

Let me make sure I understand, are you blowing off the effect of an information bottle-neck?
It wouldn’t be such a big deal if every voter could see through the bias. However, each vote counts one. An informed voter is often cancelled out by an idiot.
Oh, tme, you trying to call my intelligence into question makes me laugh out loud.

Hey, pal. Perhaps you missed (due to your own information bottleneck) the options the Republicans offered.
While I’m not always thrilled with their suggestions/performance, they trump the current cabal of reid/pelosi/obama by about a billion points.
New train from LA to Vegas? 200 billion of the stimulus going in after 2011? New helicopters for obama?
Seriously, before you try to call anyone else out, you need to take a hard look at the disgusting performance of your elected officials.
I hope you don’t have any stocks. The market is giving the finger to your ideas.

Actually I think it is unfair and incorrect to criticize Obama for the upgrade to the Marine One fleet.
First, it was a Bush Administration project. So both the matters of it being done at all, and the matters of it being screwed up and going into severe cost over-run – largely from picking a non-helicopter manufacturer as the prime contractor – are not the fault of the Obama Administration.
Second, there is good reason for the project. 9/11 showed that not even Air Force One was really up to being the center of the Executive Branch in any prolonged emergency, and even in the short time frame that it served as such then, there were reportedly serious communication lacks, but reinforced that if the Marine One helicopters had to be relied upon for any period of time in a true emergency, they were woefully lacking.
Besides this, they are really old. Really old.
And lastly, the replacements are supposed to have some ability to defend themselves against SAM attack. That seems like a good thing.
HOW it has been pursued has been pretty screwed up, I understand, but this is not Obama’s fault. That it needs to be done, I don’t disagree with. Penny wise, pound foolish to potentially have the President of the United States cut off from necessary communication with the rest of the government in a dire emergency just so as to have saved some money, even a substantial sum.

The production. the backround music. the voice over. makes small points see catastrophic. overall just a bad topic for a movie. would have better suited as a book, article or blog.

This is basically what Republican’s said after electing Bush.
Stare too long into the abyss…
I was expecting to see the word “change” because that is all he’s said.

Good post. But, in a “stimulus bill?”
I say no.
You know the market sees through this.

You are focusing on the style rather than the substance.
To me, it’s the information that I find most disturbing.

How Obama got elected,
by Sloth.
He ran against a Republican at the end of the Bush era.
The End.

That’s an amazing picture. Really. Where do the Grays and Area 51 fit in, exactly?

That’s easy. Right here obviously ^^
Obama got elected because the smart politicians wouldn’t run. They wouldn’t touch the current economic problems.
Obama is the new Warren Harding; a handsome, well-spoken compromise who doesn’t necessarily have any executive skills. He’s the scapegoat when the shit hits the fan.
