How Much Udo's to Take?

I’ve just started becoming more serious about lifting and more importantly, nutrition. I just bought a couple bottles of Udos for myself and my boyfriend. I’m not sure how much to be taking - the guy at the store said 2-3 tablespoons?

I’m 105 lbs, trying to gain weight. My boyfriend is 140 lbs, also trying to gain. (Yes, yes, we Asians are tiny :frowning: Would taking a little more Udos benefit his eczema too?

Oh, and this is my first post, please be kind

Once you figgure out how much total fat you should be taking in, you can use as much oil that provides you with approx. 1/3 that amount.

The other 2/3 should be made up of mono-unsaturated fat and saturated fats.

I’m 175lbs and I take 2-3 tablespoons a day (14g per tbsp).

In the beginning take the full two or three tablespoons. Do this for a few weeks. Your body hasn’t had enough omega 3s and your cell membranes will use a lot in the beginning to get to optimal amounts. After a few weeks monitor your intake relative to your skin condition. If you get drier and lose some elasticity you went too low.

And yes eczema can be helped, but not necessarily.

Hey thanks, that helps me out.

I’m not a doctor, but anecdotally, I’ve heard of/seen many people with skin conditions of any type benefit from OPC-3’s - it’s a very potent antioxidant blend. A bit expensive, but using it short-term to see if it has an effect wouldn’t hurt as long as you’re not allergic to any of the ingredients.
