These are all UNEQUIVOCALLY false statements. I’ve used a belt for the vast majority of my deadlift work over the past 5 years. And I’ve added at least a couple hundred pounds to my max. are you contending that my unbelted max deadlift is still what it was 5 years ago?
The strap thing is just hilarious. The ONLY way that can be true is if your grip is your weak point. I’ve never lost my grip on a deadlift in my life, so training with straps does nothing negative to my training. It’s overwhelmingly positive, because it allows me to train farmers walks, frame carries, and rows more frequently because my grip is fresh. You’re such a dum dum. you don’t think about context, like, ever. It’s too funny man.
Looks like a lot of people don’t believe that i will put on muscle mass. I’m going to prove you wrong.
My current goals are:
October - 2 lbs of muscle
November - 2 lbs of muscle
December - 2 lbs of muscle
January - 2 lbs of muscle
February - 2 lbs of muscle
March - 2 lbs of muscle
That’s 12 lbs of muscle in 6 months, unfortunately i can’t gain 10 lbs of muscle in 3 months because i’m drug free but that’s fine.
He didn’t prove anything. In fact he tried several times unsuccessfully to either create his own supplement line or somehow create monetization of other companies products.
Plenty of people have actually demonstrated their knowledge of training and nutrition and can tell you what supplements are useful for for and when they are just a waste of money. Unfortunately Jason has never had any of his own success in terms of training or nutrition, his public views on the supplement industry are completely based on sour grapes and his inability to make money off of the industry, and everything he has claimed to have it achieved in any slight relationship to the fitness industry has been a complete fabrication .
The fact that all of his followers are failures and wannabes ( not to mention all of his shock accounts where he has conversations with himself, and all of his purchased views on his videos) speaks volumes to his constant Berating of any one who has achieved anything.
By referencing him as your voice of authority, you couldn’t have picked a worse choice to try and make your case .
Take a look at his vids and tell me if his advice is bad. Seriously everything he says makes sense. He said that we don’t need to buy training programs because the basics work the best. He said that we don’t need supplements because we can get everything from a whole food based nutrition plan. He apologized about the supplement thing, he said that he convinced himself that if he only recommended the things that might work he will be fine, but he thought that’s not the right thing.
Seriously guys do you think that it’s cool supplement companies to rip off people? Supplement companies really don’t care about people, they care about money. They will put drugs in their products just for money.
Lmao!!! And you know this because Jason told you so? Yeah, he’s a real industry insider, every time he talks about fitness and bodybuilding anyone with half a clue and experience realizes how stupid and uninformed he sounds.
The basics work best? Yes, they do, up until they don’t and then you actually need some knowledge to figure out how to continue progressing.
Basic nutrition? Sure it’s all you need at the beginner levels and even intermediate ones. But ask Serious competitors who really have their livelihood tied up in their performance if they would just ignore advances in training or nutrition knowledge that could give them even an extra 10% benefit. For a beginning or like Blaha honestly is, it won’t make a difference.
For someone at the highest level of their sport, you bet your ass they would take any possible advantage.
I agree about the serious competitors. if i was competing in UFC i would hire the best coaches and use juice. I would do everything to win because the prize is huge.
But the average lifter doesn’t need these things.
