How Long Before Kevin Nee is WSM?

How long do you reckon it’ll be until Kevin Nee wins at World’s Strongest Man?

Hopefully soon. He’s pulling almost 900 I hear.

Here he is pulling 855 a couple of weeks ago.

i shot the vid of kevin pulling 855, and know that he is aiming for 900 at the APF meet here in tempe on Dec 8th. he is still only 22 and only weighs about 275 in contest condition. give him a few more years to really develop and then we should see some really amazing performances.

check out the other vids we’ve posted of him on youtube. the 400 kilo vid will let you know where he is really at.

Yeah, I really like this guy. I’ve watched him before and he’s insane for weighing 275! I saw him be neck and neck with this 400 somthin pound Canadian dude a few years ago, it was nuts because Kevin did better than him at age 22!

my bet is on wildauer martin!-T-Nation member also- Wildauer Martin - DEADLIFT RAW 370kg @19y - YouTube 815 dl raw at 19 more impressive then 855 equipped

he is going into strongman also!

Awesome as he is, there’s absolutely no way of telling yet.

Phifster didn’t win tell he was 34 or 35? right?

So Kevin has plenty of time, I wouldn’t be suprised if he wins in 2-5 years

Fuckin awesome deadlifting from both these guys…

did you miss the end of the vid were he suits up and misses 836? he has a great raw pull, but he was using a better suit and still couldn’t come within 20#'s of Nee. i look forward to seeing him get out and compete though. he is obviously ridiculously strong.

No one can guarantee a win for anyone imo. You never know who might transfer from PL - or indeed how much more the existing guys can give - such as Benni magnusson, who has over 100lb on Nee and Wildauer in the DL (is only 23-24)- IFSA i know, but the state of strongman these days you never know what may be happening between them and the WSM.

Either way, the sport is in safe hands imo.

I to strongman since this year and I won everything in austria and germany. strongman and bavarian stone lifting. I also competed in IFSA team worlds in ukraine with 19y. WSM is not really intereseting for me because every big strongman is competing in IFSA.

hahaha of course I missed it, because it was the 2nd and 3rd attempt. I got the 380kg at the 1st attempt a little higher and it was just a little pull left to do.

the suit is really big and I can squat with that suit without bar and weight to ipf deep. so it supportet me just a little bit. I wanted a suit for strongman and its great for it because I can easily breath with it.

and man consider that kevin is over 2 full years older than me und he couldnt to 370kg at 19y.

I am training with the german beast heinz ollesch and he is preparing me for the worlds strongest man. I will get it… not today, neither tomorrow… but my time will come…

next year I will definitely lift the 400kg because I will concentrate more on my back strength. this year I managed my trainroutine not as well as I could but next year I will do. also consider that I didnt lift 2 months because I was on competitions or show appearance. so the last 2 months I was not doing deadlift… I think I can call it “not bad”…

AZ CSCS,

What do you think are the chances of getting Kevin to post a little bit or perhaps do an interview here? I’m sure it would be appreciated by many.

C’mon now, as much as I’d love to see it, why would be bother? He’d probably end up getting flamed by all the really functionally strong guys here.

We can’t even post videos of Kroc doing accessory work, how the hell are we going to get someone to come on here and talk to the forums.

Yeah wishful thinking and you are right. But hey his 865 deadlift is only like 3 times bodyweight, I know a 130 lb guy that can dead 405(on the interwebz) so he’s stronger right?

Your in my top for strongman competitors for sure. If you hit 400kg that would put you at Mariusz Pudzianowskis best dl-http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mariusz_Pudzianowski- He is arguably the best strongman ever, so if you can get that kind of dl you are definitely on your way to be something special in strongman.

Don’t worry, Donut. We still have all the internet experts like RJ24 who post their highly valuable opinions and explain why all of the men who are bigger, stronger and more experienced than them don’t know what they’re doing.

hey cat,

i respect your pull, but when some internet troll hops on to hijack a thread to play fan boy to you… i’m gonna step up for one of my athletes.

i wish you all the best in your efforts in strongman, and hope to get to meet up with you sometime.

like you said, your time will come. best of luck and i hope you stay healthy so we can see you take the grand stage.
