How Do People Use PEDs and Take Pride in Their Muscles?

I naturally benched 355 in a meet at 180. And I regularly bench over 300 naturally at 190. So I’m definitely not missing your bodyweight ratio.

And I’m a vampire

Rogue, is that you?

I guess. Heart failure and your still alive…i guess a wooden stake could do it.

You guess a wooden stake could do it?

Lol.

While this is true, you still have to be on AAS for a rather long period of time in order to see and stay with good results, this can cause life long problems. You mentioned benching 300 lbs, well thats what aas does… it makes u stronger gives more stamina etc… but bodybuilders take pride in other things… not strength… bodybuilders take pride in hours they put working on specific muscle groups to see specific changes like striations etc, they spend a lot of time changing and perfecting diet…working muscles in 100 different ways… etc… even a normal steroid user would stop after a couple of months of lifting after being satisfied, bodybuilders keep going and push limits of their bodies.

steroids also set the bar higher for achievement, and if everyone is using, it is a level playing field. So when you beat someone else who is using, you have achieved something. Hence, the pride. This seems relatively simple. Not sure why the question was asked.

Also, I benched 300 at a 165 bodyweight without steroids. Sorry you couldn’t do it.

Maybe if you took your training seriously then you’d understand the amount of work that goes into it.

I used to be iffy about folks who took steroids, but mainly for the reason about competing and certain sanctions (the ones involving powerlifting). But now it’s just an enhancement. That’s really all it is. Think of it as, N02, that’s been installed in an already fast moving car. The car already can smoke pretty much all the other cars who also don’t have N02, it’s already stealthy, and aerodynamic, but the N02 just gives it an edge to push maybe 30 miles faster And that’s what I view PEDs as.

But referring back to what others have previously stated I also don’t find it fair when you compete against other non-user by you use. Of course your numbers are going to be higher (speaking on powerlifting). I don’t use, but I’ve come to live peacefully beside those who do now that I understand them better. I don’t think there’s a reason to feel shameful, using or not. If you’re living up to your potential and doing all of what you need to do involving diet rest and training than what does it matter? Coming from the view of a young lady, both natural and enhanced lifters still look hella sexy naked.

I can’t count the amount of times I’ve seen somebody I was just SURE was on PEDs and they later come up to me all “yeah bro, I’m thinking about doing my first cycle…blah blah blah”. I don’t even bother to think about it any more. Dave Tate has a very good video on the subject on youtube called “on human potential” or something similar. He says the same thing only his examples are way bigger.

Bingo.

I don’t approve of people using and competing against naturals (or in natural feds rather, since there are still naturals in juice allowing feds in powerlifting). I also don’t approve of people going against the rules of their sport, like say baseball, because they know it is against the rules. That said I completely agree with your analogy and living peacefully. Also, let’s be honest–if there was anybody who was clamoring to give you a 60 million dollar deal if you could hit certain numbers this season…I’m pretty sure most of us would probably be thinking “well, lets see how many PEDs I can take”. Economic incentive is a thing lol
