How Did You Find T-Nation?

Thought I would bump this up for the New Year. From Last year, and interestingly only one days worth of posts.

I tried to go to T-mag.com and this was here instead.

Really I used to be a Nautilus guy. (Yes it’s true.) I did a search for Ellington Darden and found his Classic X website. (Now DrDarden.com) I found out he started on Testosterone, and because his views were mostly counter to those of Testosterone he actually annoyed some of the readers. So they gave him his own website instead of creating a riot. (That is my understanding.)

He still recommended Testosterone though, so I checked it out. (I think this was 1998, but it could have been 1999.) I started learning a lot of stuff I didn’t know before, especially about the diet side of the equation, which was actually by big problem. I loved that they actually wrote for people with brains too.

I quickly became addicted to this website and read it at least weekly until they got their forum up, and then it became daily. I was on here at least once a week until about July of this year when I crashed on my bike. (Temporary layoff turned into a blitzkrieg to my diet and exercise.)

Still the best site around. And the best supplements too. (You could call me a voluntary shill for their company.)

trickstutorials.com

The site has links to both T-Nation and johnberardi.com and the author (Jujimufu) spoke well of them.

I see a quite few people from there have managed to find this site.

I searched for information about the link between saturated fats and testosterone…

I was homebound with two sick preschoolers and was searching for a better protein powder than I could find locally and here I am…

I bought a nutrition e-book by Will Brink which came with it’s own forum with a lot of good info and some great moderators (they were the ones answering questions).

There was always talk of this website and elitefts but I never checked them out.

One guy posted CT’s Running Man article about sprinting and I loved it.

Got hooked ever since, and made fun of for having the info available for so long without ever checking out this site or elitefts.

I came across a link to this site on another bodybuilding forum. After browsing over the articles for a couple of weeks and putting some of the principles to work it struck me:

“What in the fug have I been doing for the last 10 years?”

I believe it found me.;}

Ryno sent me.

When I first joined a gym I was a poor high school student, looking to up the quantity of pussy I was getting. The personal trainer the gym assigned to me understood my lack of funds and told me to check out “this new bodybuilding website, its got alot of potential” -

That afternoon I read “Killer Instinct” by Tim Patterson [which was a new article back in those days] and have been hooked since. Thank god I got that trainer and not someone who would direct me to mens health.

I was doing research on steroid use and abuse for my senior thesis. I actually stumbled across the Steroid forum through a search engine. I perused through the forums, and some of the articles. I couldn’t believe how much information was here. From that time I have been hooked!

googled HOT-ROX

My husband bought me a bowflex. In it was a book by Dr.Darden re: HIT. I read that and went to his website. From there I found a link to this one. I am so glad I did. I have learned valuable information.

I was on the Men’s Health website and read something about the more testosterone you have the more muscle you can build. So I did what any curious 16 year old would do, I googled ‘Testosterone’. That’s when I came upon this amazing site.

I haven’t been back to the Men’s Health site since.

elitefts.com

Websearching for neck rehab articles, came up with Shrug Science then remembered seeing the mag a few years ago…

I have been racking my brains trying to remember how I found this place. And since I haven’t been here that long, I SHOULD be able to remember. The fact that I CAN’T remember how I got here is troubling. I did alot of googling, and poking around the popular men’s mag sites, and must have gotten a link from somewhere.

The important thing is, HERE I AM.

A female sprinter I know was looking at the site as I was peering over her shoulder trying to check out her pec development and one thing led to another…then as a few people have pointed out…I preceded to stalk the site for a good half year before opening my mouth and much to many people’s annoyance haven’t shut up ever since.

A friend of mine told me to check out Joe DeFranco’s site. His site had a link to T-Nation.

October, 2003… I was a wide-eyed freshman, and a 5th year senior referred me to the site for diet advice. Took me a while to start spending every free minute reading, let alone post. Now it is the complaint of any girl that is visiting during ‘off-peak hours’.

Bought some MAG-10 from another supplier and saw the website on the instructions… I’ve been here for 3 years now
