How Did You Find T-Nation?

I was looking at porn and some how I came across the ass worship thread. When I was done I came back to the site and have been coming here every day since.

I’ll jump in here too. I found T-Mag after doing a Yahoo search for TC and Poliquin. I was missing the old Muscle Media 2000 days. T-mag.com popped up in the search, probably issue two or three. Heaven. Fifty-something issues later I was working for them. Heaven with beer.

I did a search for some stuff by Poliquin and found T-Nation when I was still in college or just out I think (so around 4-5 years ago). I bounced around the internet for a few years, and came back a few months ago to this site to see if maybe I was good enough to write for it…

So now I do an article or two per month here…

I was reading the MM issue in Oct 01 and they did a review of TRIBEX in the supplement review section. They gave it 2 aggresive thumbs up.EAS and MM lost a loyal HMB and BFL’er that day.I went to the website and about cummed in my pants.I joined the darkside and never went back.

One of the PT’s at my gym told me about it after realizing that I didn’t know what I was doing, but was willing to learn.

Whilst dieting for a competition about 2 1/2 years ago a friend of mine told me about the 7 days to ultimate leaness article. I read that and about 100 other articles in 2-3 days.

Been reading the articles ever since.

Back in 1997, when MM2K became just MM and started to turn kind of “weird”, and after one year of not seeing any articles from TC, I wrote to MM in 1998 asking them several questions about what’s going on with the magazine.

One of the question was where the hell is TC? They actually wrote back and answered all my questions, including where TC is(that particular question was answered in a condescending tone). I quickly went to “testosterone.net” and damn it, that really made my day.

At the time I was a 16 year old trying to get bigger. I found T-Nation while I was on the Men’s Health forum (thanks Men’s Health for a good start) and someone gave a link to T-Nation.

From then on I kept on coming back to read more articles. A month later, I finally got an account, realizing I found my new source for bodybuilding and nutrition information. I know alot more about nutrition than what I did a year ago, and my desire to become a nutritionist has grown ever since.

Now i’m 17, and 25 lbs bigger than what I use to be.

Thank you T-Nation and all the contributors

WguitarG introduced me to T-Nation about 3 years ago and I actually became a member about 2 years ago.

I was part of the weightlifting and working out groups on MSN and one of the members goes, hey, if you wanna check out people that really know their shit, log on to T-Nation… love at first site!

I still get all giddy when a new article comes out every week… am truly thankful! I have found the best site, hands down. Yeah!

I had this nutty computer teacher who found out I was considering taking steroids. He told me to come to “testosterone.net” and reserach as much as I can. Only I found that with all the diet and training information on this site, steroids were not as absolutly necesscary as I thought they were for gaining muscle.

A friend of mine turned me on to it after I badgered him for several months on why to do this or why something didn’t work.
I still badger him a good bit, but at least the questions are a little better these days.

Great idea for a thread.

I had this friend in college who seem to know so much about exercises and training, often completing the teacher’s sentences. I found out his secret and started some readin’. I registered on the forum about a year and a half after that.

I had heard about Dr. Berardi via a powerlifting website and then found T-Nation when I googled Dr. Berardi.

I googled…

Tube Steak Boogie…Looking for some ZZ top music and got to this site.

I googled Bodybuilding and Nutrition. Dr. J Berardi had an excellent article : Nutrient Timing. I followed the links and found this little slice of perfection. Now, I spend more time here than “working” and stopped playing chess on-line altogether. All to my benefit!

I was working at GNC at the end of Summer '01 when a customer came in and told me about the site. Been reading ever since.

I was on a different site which no longer seems to exist, and in response to a nutrition question there someone posted a link to one of Dr. Berardi’s articles here.

My former secretary (about 4 years ago) used to talk about the site all the time.

He always had it up on his computer when he was supposed to be working. I finally checked it out a couple months ago, and enjoy the articles.

I learned about this site on a whim just like most of you - A couple years ago I guy I used to train brazilian jujitsu new about this site. He was big into TRIBEX and ZMA and I believe that old andro stuff you crazy guys used to spray on your bodies…LOL. I think he found out from another jujitsu guy on a jj message board who was into fitness and training. Both these guys where extremely hardcore, and I wouldnt doubt that both are probably reading this right now.

Okay I thought you guys were just F@*king with me about the whole “Panty Diving” and “Tube steak boogie” googling posts. So being the curious girl that I am…I tried it.

Yup if you google either of those phrases…sure enough there is good ole T-Nation.

Go figure :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
