How close is your squat to your deadlift?

Thanks. My lifetime goals are a 405 squat and 495 deadlift.

Plenty of time, college boy. Maybe it was the pink avatar that gave me that idea. I’m getting old and often find the world around me to be confusing.

My best deadlift is 90lbs better than my best squat
I’m a midget, but a midget with unfortunate femur to tibia proportions

Proportions and leverages be damned. I’m one the lanky lifters. I’m 6,4 feet in stange US measurements with orangutan like arms and long legs. I’m decent at deadlift and suck at everything else.

I also have long arms and legs. I am not surprised my deadlift is so much better than my squat. Long arms, short legs, and a short torso would probably be optimal for both lifts.
