Been training for a while but never really got the diet and nutrition side dialled down so never get into even remotely a shape I consider acceptable.
I am trying to fix that and taking a daily shake as part of my routine (but really need help with the overall diet though). I am just back from a log weekend and would like to see if I need to change it or is it ok to just continue on.
I take:
2 35g scoops of My Protein’s Whey Protein
1 5g scoop of BCAA (My Protein)
1 5g scoop of Creatine Mono (My Protein - I am an affiliate of My Protein on my site so get good deals)
I am male, 31, around 18.4 stone last time I weighed myself at those weight machines in the gym. Some muscle but with a lot of blubber on the belly and a fat face (creatine has made it worse with the water retention)
I take one of these with water daily. Should I be having this twice a day or is that just wasting money?
I was adding a large scoop of dextrose to it on workout days for an insulin spike (I read to do it somewhere) but not sure if it helps really.
Have I really screwed this up? Any advice? Anything would help. Thank you.

What does the other 95%+ of your nutrition look like?
Breakfast is nothing
Lunch is a ready meal or occassionally the left overs from meal the night before
Dinner is normally chicken, pork or turkey, potatoes or pasta and vegetables
Normally use rubs or sauces for the meat
Snacks include apples, go ahead bars, biscuits and whatever the local shop has as I am normally rush buying but that’s no excuse
I was doing a lot of late nights at work and drinking soda and other crap and trying to get back into eating properly but not sure what I should be eating
I’m six foot 3, office job, 18.4 stone
Current maxs are conventional deadlifts - 170kg, back squat - 110kg, bench press - 85kg or there abouts (probably a 2.5kg on some)
Last bodyfat check was 26%
I wouldnt worry about protein shakes or any supplement really until you can get your training and diet in order. It will make no difference at all with out those properly lined up.
