How Are Men Supposed to Dance?

the key to dancing with bitches is to make them feel like the center of attention and beautiful. spin them around. women love it. easy. and they love it. and then grind your weiner on them.

to dance. put a tune on and follow the beat. move your body to the beat. start with some side to side hip movements. toss some arms in. throw your hands up. GET LOOSE. keep mixing it up. but practice to hold the beat. pick the beat out of the song and hold it. also. any dance song will have 8 beats. so you can even follow along in your head. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8. or 1 2 3 4 would work to. practice keeping the beat while doing other things. like listening to music in the car.

I’m not a dancin man. If I’m really, really drunk at a wedding, maybe, but that’s it. Otherwise it’s not my thing. I refuse to be one of those with the WMD syndrome.

Is this how all you folks two step?

Am I the only one who thinks that looks completely retarded? I’ve seen some guys do stuff like that (not with that level of skill, obviously), and I don’t see the point.

Why bother with music at all if that’s how you “dance”? The point with dancing (imo) is to flow with the music, like salsa or swing.

Problem with that though, is there are no ‘type of dance’ like that for guys when it comes to club dancing, only for girls.

I’m going to bars instead of clubs now that I’m old enough…

Copy this dude. He makes it look easy tho. Just practice moving your hips to the beat by moving your legs and even stiff ass dudes like us can be decent enough to get some pussy after the club.

I might have to re-evaluate my opinion of club dancing…

Dancing is easy!

This is how a man dances!

If you’re there to dance, then dance however you like. Duh.

But if you’re like 99% of the guys you are just there to fuck someone, so find a girl to get drunk and grind against.
X2, no guy goes to a club specifically for the purpose of dancing, though

I don’t go to clubs anymore but if I could dance like this I would do it just about everywhere and I’m not even fucking kiddin’.

lol nice… but I prefer this

Dude, I almost posted that. And bodyguard, I am completely serious. Honestly man, dance however you feel like dancing. Like I said I don’t really go to clubs anymore but when I was single I’d get out there and make a fool of myself, and I seldom went home alone, haha. Just have fun and get loose and everything will figure itself out.

Just two step. Go to a honky tonk or a tavern.

That’s hilarious!

last time I danced in a bar it was SUCH a relief to dance with a guy who knew a lil waltz, salsa, and swing in addition to the typical bump and grind. It was fun and easy to follow his lead, and pretty awesome to realize we’d cleared a space on the floor by the time the song was finished. When the other women in the area found out we weren’t dating, he got many phone numbers and free drinks. I lol’d.
This is where it’s at. I’m telling you, I suck so bad at your typical hip hop club dancing its not even funny…but if you want to swing or salsa, I can go all night. To me personally it’s much more enjoyable than being in the club scene, which I would rather avoid unless a date really really wants to go dancing… West coast “swing” is a variation you can do with most club music as well (provided you have a partner that knows the steps). As a bonus, it looks extremely badass to people who only know how to grind. Sexy and classy at the same time.

The sad part is all the videos on youtube of WC swing are super cheesy ballroom style. Except this. This is cool, although they get the entire floor to use instead of just a little space in the crowd. You just stay a lot closer together in a crowd, which makes it better anyways.

Check out melvin anthony posing 2008 ironman and 2009 olympia, dude can dance!

Thanks Ara, that’s some awesome stuff!! My goal is to learn that shit now!!

I cannot dance. Put some music on with me on my own on a stage sober and I look retarded. Couple of drinks and a crowd though and I dance well enough to attract girls. The trick is to not care, relax and have fun as has been said by several other people.

Totally. Fucking. Worth. It.

That is all.

Ain’t easy (isn’t as hard as it probly seems if you get regular lessons though), but holy shit is it fun when you get a girl that knows how to move. As a bonus, like CBear mentioned, you get lots of #s if you end up going club dancing with a partner you’re not dating.

EDIT–here’s another cool video I ran across by accident actually. With a really fucking hot chick! Ben Morris & Jessica Cox Improv West Coast Swing - YouTube

Only the first 2:30 is worth watching as WC. The rest is other stuff.

Also, quite ironically since I’m not into the club scene, west coast is by far my favorite style of dance.

Ya know salsa/Tango(not sure if there different) always intrigued me seems really fun
