Can You Dance?

I’m just curious who on here can dance.

I’ve been taking salsa for the last 8 months or so and before that I did a variety of Ballroom dancing.

Currently I can:
Waltz
Tango
Fox Trot
Jive
West Coast Swing
Rumba
Samba
Cha Cha
Two Step
Salsa
Meringue
Bachata

I’m just curious who else on here dances.

You are just showing off to try and get some sex aren’t you. The sad thing is that it will probably work.

And can step side to side and snap… does that count?

I love dancing!!!
salsa
merengue
cumbias
hip hop
reggeaton

Dancing is amazing.

I can:

Bboy
Pop
Lock
West Coast Swing
Blues

I have taken some salsa and tango classes. This does not mean I can dance. :stuck_out_tongue:

Whenever I hear dance music I start punching myself in the face until I’m unconscious. Does that count?

No! However, if you manage to kick yourself into an unconcious state, it can be considered copiara and therefor, a dance.

Dancing is merely a “vertical expression of a horizontal intention” and can tell you quite a bit about a persons…um…rhythym and ability to move their body. A spaz on the dance floor is usually a spaz in the sack.

That’s why guys who can dance get laid. It’s kinda like an audition.

So that is why I cant dance for more than 20 seconds without collapsing and wanting to sleep.

This is why I always make sure to do some dry humping on the dance floor.

I used to break all the time, and I’ve made a little cash dancing. I can pick up new styles pretty easily.
Yes, it gets you laid, because like gojira said, it’s like an audition, and I’ve had plenty of women tell me things to that effect.

Of course that only applies to dancing with a partner.

Because sometimes the music (and alcohol) takes hold, and I’m out there on the dance floor like a cross between Bill Cosby, the “Wild and Crazy Guys” from SNL and a dying chicken.

Usually I’m like this at a wedding or something. Everyone laughs and just lets go themselves. People that are afraid to dance will come out and dance. You should try it.

Though, I suppose this means that I masturbate like a spaz.

I do the greatest dance move ever. Its called a Bent Press.

I’m sorry I killed it…

I gave dancing a fair shot. Tried grinding, dancing by myself, even tried swing dancing classes. I just don’t like to dance. I can’t enjoy it.

in 8th grade i had to go to " dance and etiquette " classes every friday night for like 3 months. we did all those dances and learned important skills like “how to meet people and convey that you’re better than them” and " how to eat dinner like there’s a fork in your ass " and a bunch of painful ridiculous shit like that.

the whole class ending with a " ball " where we ate dinner and you had to dance all the different dances with a different girl. i don’t remember much of any it though as we got completely stoned before every class.

i’ve never fully trusted my parents after those ten weeks. and the scars from that class are likely responsible for making me the full-blown cynic that i am today… decades before my time.

I can’t dance…at all…it is guys like me that created that stereotype about white man dancing…but if I’ve had a few drinks, I really don’t care either way and I’ll go all out.

Thats just nonsense that most women believe. I have been told I am a good dancer, but it is only when its with someone I am comfortable with. I’ve danced with others that got their own style and it isn’t compatible.

It’s hard dancing with people sometimes if your styles don’t mix, particularely if you learned from different instructors who do the basics differently.

I’m a pretty decent salsa dancer and I’ve danced with beinners where it went very well and excellent dancers where it all just fell apart because our styles didn’t mesh. In salsa this is particularely true when you try to mix someone who dances cuban (me) with someone who dances LA. It gets worse if one of you normally dances On One and the other On Two, that’ll really screw you up.

That having been said the ladies love a man who can dance, I just don’t think the girls realize what a thankless task it is as a guy. Girls get to go out and have fun, we get to work our asses off, strss ourselves out and no matter how good you are there’s some other guy on the dance floor that she would rather be dancing with.

I have a horse named Dancer.
