Morning HIITs do suck by the way. But seeing the progress from one week to the next kind of kicks ass. I dont believe I possess, at 6’6", the natural coordination to jump rope. I tried, wasnt pretty. The ERG (rowing machine) will utterly destroy you. I used to be on the varsity crew team here at Florida. Nothing worse than hearing ‘ERG tests today’ after the warm up three mile run at 5 am.
An interesting side note. I saw that rowing burns more calories/min than any other exercise than running a 6 min mile. Funny how fat the women’s team was. The ones that werent fat made up for it with ugly.

I don’t think I was quite 18% back 2 weeks ago when i began tdawg 2.0 either so maybe I don’t count. Probably was more like 16-17%

I am now around 12-13% and taking hot rox with my tdawg 2.0 diet, and hitting the weights 4-5x/week plus jumping rope for HIIT when I feel like it.

sure, be honest with the start date, Since this is for fun. And go 10% below your lowest initial BFP. so you shoot for 6%. sound cool?

I started exactly 2 weeks ago on the 26th of june, you can see it from my many posts on the subject.

I lost 10 pounds in the first week+, some of it was water though, which I gained a bit of it back and then started to drop weight again, and am now down about 11 from the start.

ok. I meant the date that you took initial BFP readings and the date you started the program.

Jodgey…The spreadsheets are amazing! Excellent job! I think that the spreadsheets will definitely be a great baseline guide for me.

As far as the contest goes…I think that is definitely a sweet motion. I can see it now…“Round boys gone ripped”? Hehehehe!

We should also have milestone check-ins…possibly every week. If possible keep pics (front/rear shots) to show transitions.

Man, I started eating cleanly, 5-6 meals/day, riding my bike to work and doing cardio after lifting. Guess what happened. I GAINED 2.5 LBS!!! WTF. Seriously, it makes no sense.

Are you monitoring EXACTLY how many cals come in, and in what proportion. I tred cleaning up my act and it got me nowhere. It was only when i really dialed everything in that I really feel like I saw some day to day progress.
If you dont have a food log, I have been using one (excel spreadsheet) that really works for me. I fuck with the numbers until I get it right, and then prepack my meals in the morning. Or if I eat out, I call up (or log on)and get the nutrition for certain meals. that way I can incorperate it into my daily plan. If you want, PM me and Ill send it to you.
Also, alcohol can suck big time if you are trying to cut. I think it may suck if you are trying to bulk as well.

But to answer the ‘WTF’, maybe it is because you are bumping up to 6 meals a day and have some cals not accounted for. Again, I dont know anything about your situation before or after, Im just suggesting things based on my frustrations with trying to cut.

I’ll PM you to get a look at those spreadsheets as they sound pretty close to what I’m aiming to achieve.

KraigY: Yeah I like the aim of the WTF, but I gotta admit I’m terribly interested in starting up the CD/EDT idea.

Though I get the feeling that the CD is more geared to people who are already at a low bodyfat percentage. Would this mean that I skip the refeeds?? I guess I’ll try and search on that one…

I started CD at 19%. refeeds ARE A MUST. It works incredibly for upper teens kind of guys.

Just follow the program to the T, trust me. Ill send you my spreadsheet, you can even follow my strict day guidelines (modified to fit your LBM, of course). My overfeeds were sloppy, but progress progressed.
