How do any of you guys incorporate hot tubs into your recovery process for lifting? I compete in submission fighting and I jump in my condo’s hot tub after every hard practice.
I use to hop in my apartment complex’s hot tub a couple times a week. While in there, I would bring a big water bottle and make sure I drank at least 32oz. Since, my apartment has been remodeling the hot tub, I have started using the gym’s facilities. Once or twice a week I will plan to stick around a little longer after my workout. I’ll fill up my water bottle and spend some time in the hot tub, pool, steam room and sauna. I don’t really time anything, but I just relax, drink a lot of water and maybe try to stretch a little.
