Correct me if I am wrong but isn’t knee wraps and a belt considered “supportive” equipment? Regardless that chick is a fuckin hoss and can out squat me.
You’re wrong. Supportive equipment means poly/canvas/denim suits and shirts, and in some federations, knee wraps. I believe all federations permit belts and knee sleeves as “raw”.
yes i know. but if knee sleevs were fairly or too tight that will give you some (a bit) extra-support getting 10lbs out. all deppends the tight and tickness they are. of course it will be not the same carry-over if you get knee wraps!
and thats why i was asking an opinion about how deepper were thats elastic sweatpants ruffers, tuckers underneath the knee sleevs in her squat??
and if the left knee sleev seems tighter than the right one on the bottom of that squat?

??? ok ???
Now the real question. Did anyone else notice her highlights. I’m almost positive that fresh highlights can add 20lbs to a squat max. I could also tell that the band around her hair was inzer.
BJack do you think that knee sleeves with ruffs underneath are helping? and sheÃ???Ã??Ã?´s using older modell plates (color on rims)that could weigging off… or even the bar!most gyms has weights weigghing wrong belive is true and savvy bb get mark them for special lifts…and besides the bar don’t weight 45lb!
Wrist wraps + Coffee (black with a dash of cinnamon) and Hanes briefs, not Fruit of the freaking looms there for novice lifters only. But the freaking Michael Jordan HANES underwear can and will add 30lbs to your max squat. Try it.
And I think I seen “Metal” nail polish on her hands, not IPF approved.

No, Metal paid the extortion fees, it’s approved now. Thank god. The manicure is a huge part of my training.

PMPM should know she’s a national champ, it’s all in the toes

alo friends.does any body knows this youtube video clip:
she a BW 198lb women and she is squatting 330lb(150 kg) x 5 reps without any supportive equippment…
and easly …how can this be possible? fake plates? injected steroids? or both?
UMMM, what do you call the belt and the knee wraps?? “Decorative” equipment?? Now, with all respect to PMPM…outside of the federations, those of us who don’t “compete” call anything that can aid in stabilization ‘supportive equipment.’
PLUS, look at her build (I mean, seriously how many 198# women do you know that can see their toes without help)…thick torso, thicker hips and thighs than most men I see at my gym (not that that’s saying much, but still) and also what Beans said…she’s stronger than you!
four60, she’s a national champ, all right, but she is lying cause she’s claiming
on her web site (josefinbrander.se/?page_id=6) a squat of 160kg x 5 …instead 150kg x 5!
CDQAR24,in your opinion that “decorative” equipment will give her some extra-support on the bottom of the squat?
see well the elastic pant ruffs/tucks under her knee sleevs on the end of the video when she?´s approaching of the camera!!

Oh yes, god forbid that she would have improved her squat 5RM by a whole 10kg since June 2007.
As has been said, she is stronger than you. If it bothers you so much, get your ass to a gym and do something about it.
The only thing I could think is why are those fuckers not spotting her.
She could very easily get hurt.
She’s a weightlifter. Shes using a weight that she can do for a lot of reps and she has bumper plates. No need for spotters…
Edit:Edit: I agree that 315 would make a regular 20kg olympic bar bend just a bit but definitely not like in this video. She’s using a woman’s bar which is 33-lbs(15kg) and that is the reason why the bar is bouncing so much.
yes! your’r right! but talking about that bw 198lb women who did a squat 150kg x 5.what do you think about?
did she couldn’t do that without that stabilization ‘supportive equipment.’?
Could she also very easily get hurt like this women?

Who gives a fuck? She’s not using any supportive equipment. The only reason why she has sleeves and such is to protect from injury and keep her joints warm. Yea it might feel a little more stable with the sleeves but do you truly think it makes that much of a difference specially when she isn’t doing a 1 rep max?
