Which again, still does not refute the original statement of weight loss being 80% diet.
Meh. Photoshop. My grandfather used to tell me about British POWs actually gaining weight because they suffered from metabolic damage.
That’s actually kinda interesting, albeit macabre. What I will say is that for Christian Bale to allegedly consume little else but a daily apple and can of tuna and some coffee to prepare for The Machinist is intense.
EDIT: Wait shit did I fall for some sarcasm? RIP
^Refute means to disprove
I agree with the 80/20 rule
Yes. You have not done this.
Why would I? I agree with it
I will try to explain this better.
You made a statement that 80% of fat loss is diet.
That statement is incorrect. Weight loss cannot occur in a caloric surplus. It is 100% diet.
Nothing you have said as refuted this. Everything you have posted in response to your original claim about fat loss being 80% does not refute this. You have posted that it is better to be active than not active, which is a true statement, but not a refutation of the fact that weight loss is 100% diet. You have stated that starving yourself is hard, which is once again a true statement and once again ALSO not a refutation of the fact that fat loss is 100% diet. You have stated you support the 80/20 rule, which is yet again a true statement (I assume you are telling the truth about your support of it) and once again NOT a refutation of the fact that fat loss is 100% diet.
A conclusion can be false despite being made up of true premises, primarily when those premises are non-sequiturs.
75/25 here
You are beyond my ability to help. Have a great day ![]()
Huffington Post!!!
The 100% claim is YOUR CLAIM not mine, so I don’t have to refute it.
It’s up to you to prove it. Given that regular weight lifting increases metabolism this disproves your 100% claim.
Sorry but you made the 100% claim not me!
He did… He said weight loss cannot occur in a caloric surplus. It is up to you to refute that
Also are you the ARX guy? Make an analogy for us
Proves your 100% theory wrong lol
Already proven wrong.
The fact that RMR increases via weight training proves you can lose weight in a caloric surplus?
Now I’m confused
Yes; and you have not refuted it yet.
I cannot explain this more.
Let me explain as you are having trouble understanding.
Person A and B. Exact same diet. Similar genetics and body type. Same starting weight.
Person A starts exercising 3 times a week while B does nothing.
After 3 months person A weighs less thus proving your 100% claim wrong.
You sound confused.
I must bow to your superior intellect in these matters.
