Hey man, I have been reading Louie’s articles since I was 16 or 17 years old. I learned a shit load from him and always pay attention to what he is up to.
Additionally, Wendler is an intelligent guy who basically has done a masterful job of simplifying things right around the time the online complexity got out of control, putting together a very solid training template, and bringing back a much needed focus on meaningful, grass roots compound movements to the beginner and intermediate lifter.
We have a guy we train with who is basically our 5/3/1 guinea pig as I really like to evaluate different training methods and actuall possess the patience to see them through. He is in his 5th or 6th cycle and is doing very well.
I guess what I am saying is you could do much worse but I tire rapidly of these guys running around the forum parroting things they have read as if it’s some profound wisdom.
Most people post advice on here that is remarkably one dimemsional and communicates a serious lack of applied knowledge.

you can just say TYPE2B homie! hahaha
I totally agree i’m at best an intermediate lifter and know my role as such. I dont feel i would have the patience to deal with training with someone or the knowledge to help them correct technique. I know how to do it but i probably couldn’t explain it very well. i guess theres no better place than a computer thread to be a know it all. If someone calls you on your shit its not as embarasing cause they dont know who you really are.
