HIIT During Bulk

Sorry to beat a dead horse if this has been discussed but I did do a search and never really got the answer I was looking for. Say a guy is bulking with 500 over maintenance. If he does HIIT 3 times a week while training 5 times a week, he could probably bulk with very little fat gain right??? All of this is assuming that his diet is in order 90% of the time. Am I correct here or am I missing something?

I think you have to calculate the HIIT sessions into your caloric needs or else you won’t be 500 over maitenance (if you hadn’t done that.)

If you’re gaining a pound a week or slightly less you probably aren’t going to get much fat gain regardless of how much cardio your doing.

Try carb cycling too, that supposedly will minimize fat gain.

Has anyone wrote a good article on carb cycling. I can search for it but it helps to know the authors name I am looking for. I am about to start a 6 month bulk here in the next month or so, so I want to get all of my sh!t straight before I do it.
