Yea well a long time ago i did hear some people say that “test is best” and “the only thing better than 1g of test is 2gs of test”… but didnt take it that seriously to try, haha.
FWIW, the two people I actually know that have tried north of 2 grams say it works, and works pretty well. The one that is still pushing things hard with gear said he starts to feel some of the effects that he’d expect on Tren just from the high Test. Stuff like more aggression. It makes sense to me that a ton of less potent androgens could make one feel similar to less more potent androgens? Or at least it is plausible.
He is currently running 2,100 mg/wk. The traps and delts are super round, which we wouldn’t expect with just Test. IDK, I am not saying there is something special with the approach, just that from my anecdotal observations that it seems plausible.
I’m from the school of, you stack with different compounds for the beneficial effects you can gain from each respective compound. Like Deca, the increased water retention plus the added lubricity for your joints, not to mention the great anabolic to androgenic ratio, would be a great synergistic add-on. Sure, with EVERY type of different compound you will perhaps have different sides to combat, but that just goes with…different compounds. Or, like me, I wasn’t a big fan of deca but I love EQ for the pumps, vascularity, and the anabolic effects when compounded with test. With Tren, I abhorred the sides I experienced (MUCH higher aggression, tren cough, night sweats that also stunk, and the hit I saw in my bloodwork) but it’s excellent for strength and especially precontest for retaining muscle mass via keeping your strength up so you can train heavy while in a depleted state and giving you the aggression to hit the weights hard.
I think it also just boils down to what yields YOU the results you are looking for, be it sheer mass/size, better feeling joints so you CAN lift heavier/squat deeper, etc while not having your joints kill you, or leaning more towards oral turinabol, winstrol, etc for less water weight/increased metabolism, or whatever. I do agree with everyone here that ultimately, test IS the king, and it IS the best base and I’ve always felt that when running several different compounds it is best to keep your intake of test per week at a dose higher than any of the other compounds you are taking. Again, it’s dependent on your goals (offseason bulking + lifting heavy, powerlifting needing crazy strength, leaning out for a show, etc).
I will say that running well north of 1.5-2+ grams of test/wk for MOST (at least it does for me and others I personally know) DOES tend to greatly impact your health/bloodwork negatively (very high hemocrit so tomato sauce blood consistency e.g. NOT healthy and dangerous), your LDL goes way up while your HDL disappears, keeping your estrogen in check is more difficult (when running 2+grams of test or more a week, “most”, sure not all, but most will battle high estrogen sides (bloat, puffy/itchy nips, etc)…elevated blood pressure aka the ol red face and the moon face from water retention.
As I said earlier, I never really saw a substantial benefit to make it worth it (gains vs sides/health) the few times I did experiment with test of 2grams/wk. But, everybody’s different so do what works best for you. Please note, everything I’m discussing is for advances lifters with several cycles under their belt, who DO have the knowledge of all of these AAS and positive/negative effects while being sure to do bloodwork. For the OP, stick to test and thank you for listening and lowering your dose, I think you will feel much better!
