455 0, 1 PR? I missed this, got pissed, then made it. Sometimes it just takes a while for the bar to move and I need to be patient with it.
I use 4 patio pavers always for these, the same that I stand on for deficits
I don’t like using straps for deadlift variations at all any more. It messes with my setup.

Today my back, hips and legs are beat. I think if bench feels off I’ll try out some other pressing variation.
My work has pretty badass free 24 hour gym M-F that I signed up for. There’s one rack and the bars aren’t great, but I will do bodybuilding type stuff there for sure.

Dude, if you’re hittin’ 270 for 5 you’ve got 3-hundo right now. Know everyone’s different, but when I could get 275x5 I could get 3 plates for single. You’re probably there already too. Think you’re stronger than you realize.
Yeah I was really expecting to double and maybe triple 285 without a huge struggle. I must be fatigued. I really am getting close to the 300/400/500 “beginner powerlifter” standards I set for myself. Thanks a ton btw
