High Energy after Cheat Meal

Hey guys,

on friday I finished my diet, in which I lost about 6kg dropping down to around 8% bf with an Intermittent fasting and high protein approach. Normally I always eat clean, but after long diets I always have one big cheat meal.

Yesterday I did exactly that and after fasting whole day I spent my whole calories for the day in mcdonalds. I do this almost every year, but everytime with different food.

The weird thing about this time was that I felt really powerful after eating for like 30-45min, it was amazing. I felt like I could easily run sub 10 in 100m hahaha. Really wanna replicate this feeling for training, so I wanted to ask you guys whats the reason for that energy burst and how to use it for training?

Inslun + Bloodsugar spike? High Dopamine levels?

Best Regards

Coke.

Well if you went to a real 8% and dieted for a long time without cheating that’s perfectly normal

I’ve been getting that lately from biking for a few hours then replenishing a couple hours after the ride.

You can literally feel the energy level rise and the food/reward response occur.

I dont use stimulants in general so no coke.

Can I replicate that someway? High amounts intra carbs or specific foods before training?

Nobody can tell you for certain what happened. But if you ate really clean to lose that 6kgs and then ate McD’s, it was most likely the salt. I ate half a jar of pickles the other day and woke up with rode map veins ready to flip vehicles feeling really good.
