HGH Not Working

I think my HGH is bunk. Everytime I ever have done CJC, ipamorelin, or other peptide, my fasting glucose rises to 95-105. I’ve been doing hgh(non-pharm) and my fasting is anywhere between 65-75(which is my normal. No weight loss noticed, not like I see when I’m on peptides. Only thing is I sleep good in this hgh. Does it take time or is it bunk?

Why is this in the T Replacement forum?

How much did it cost?

I thought the common method of testing UGL HGH was by comparing IGF-1 values from baseline to ~4hrs after injection… Is this not hte case?

@studhammer knows a thing or two about HGH

@Mod_Phoenix might want to kick this thread over to #pharma

I think you may be right. Get your IGF-1 tested and see

No, it takes a while for IGF to rise up.
What spikes in like 30mins to 3 hours is Somatotropic Hormone - which is the actual GH.

If you wanna know if your GH is good or bad, take a few days off, do bloods for Somatotropic Hormone and then the next day do another test after like an hour of injection.

You cant take IGF or blood glucose into account, because GH works different for people. The actual GH in blood is detected as Somatotropic Hormone.

Not everybody react to GH the same. If you want to test it, take a shot of about 4 iu or so and get a blood test about 3 - 4 hours after and your GH should be pretty elevated.

Other symptoms (for me) are an increase in carpal tunnel syndrome and major water retention my first time. Also, things like cuts and scrapes heal much faster and my gym recovery is way better.

How much different would you say? If it can allow a step up in training volumes, or even adding an extra day of training a week, that could be a big difference long term.

My main HGH benefits were increased leanness and fuller looking muscles. I didn’t get as much recovery benefit but that could also be that I’m 15-20 years younger?

Never used it myself, but I think pretty every much every IFBB Pro I’ve ever heard talk about GH has said it’s fairly useless other than for maintaining some fullness when prepping for a show.

So this seems fairly consistent, actually.

If you remember, I’m 57 with a lot of old injuries that resulted in arthritis in my knees and hips. I do a full body workout 3 times a week with at least a day between workouts. With that said, I still hit it pretty hard with lots of volume and minimal rest between sets. My heart rate stays elevated for the entire hour. Maybe its a placebo effect but I don’t get sore and I sleep great all which helps me hit the gym with the same intensity every time.

Do you have a channel or somewhere you share workouts?

I do not. I’m not much on social media other than this forum. Sorry
