Heterosexual Discrimination

I pose a question.

You are at a club in Miami, you are a heterosexual male, and a homosexual male walking by grabs your nuts and winks at you.

My friend reflexively punched the guy in the face and walked away.
My friend was charged with harassment/assault M3 charges and tried to press sexual assault and harassment charges back on the guy just to get the charges dropped, but that didn??t work.

In the civil suite to pay for the guys medical bills the homosexual male was also allowed to file a suite based on sexual discrimination.

Does anyone else think this is messed up?

That is the most comical story I’ve heard in a long while.

I think I’d have to hear how things worked out before I could decide that the legal part was messed up.

Sounds like the some countersuits need to unravel a bit first.

There must be more to the story that you are not telling us but from the facts you have laid out it is clear they were both in the wrong and your friend should have not punched the guy. Your friend could have filed a complaint with the police and all would have been ok but he decided to pursue justice on his own and got burnt in the process. Vigilantism is not a good idea in most cases.

In many states what the other guy did would get him listed as a sex offender. If you had done that to a female you can bet your bollocks you’d be on that list.

There has to be more to this.

Keep us updated. It can make for interesting discussion.

Mufasa

This was a sexual assault, pure and simple. Your friend was within his rights to defend himself. Still, something does seem to be missing from this story.

I can picture the face of the cop who’ll take such a deposition. He’ll be telling the story for weeks.

While I agree with you in essence, I know I can’t go to a police station and report such things as a dude grabbing my balls. It’s just too weird.

If your friend has a good lawyer he definitely should be able to win a suit both criminal and especially a civil trial…

The police would have an easy time locating the guy, though. Just look for someone with big eyes and tiny hands.

Well it was some kind of gay pride week down there. We didn’t realize it until we got to one of the clubs. We were actually leaving because of that when it happened.

My friend lives near Ft Myers, I had flown down to visit him so he wanted to go over to miami.

All I know about the court case is what he told me. He is a hotheaded special op. And it probably didn’t help that when the cop came to take his statement he just kept saying “that F-ing faggot grabbed my nuts so I punched him in his F-ing face.”

I will let you know when he gives me more info.

The part that upsets me is I know I would react very similarly,

Most of the guys I know have a zone, it is your zone and you don’t enter that zone unless you are given permission, otherwise you deal with the consequences.

This further my belief that there is a movement to turn men in America into homosexuals. It just seems like being gay is becoming more and more mainstream. The clothes, shoes, and cologne(like ck1) is becoming more unisex which to me means that one day men and women will be wearing the same stuff. If that isnt gay I don’t know what is.

I would also.

That is correct.

LMAO. You’re the man.

Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. Whenever feasible, I try and opt for the scenario that won’t get me sued or thrown in the clink. While I’m not down with an other gentleman fondling my junk there may have been a better tactic like breaking an arm or fingers.

No jury would convict or rule against someone who reacted to being touched in that manner. In many instances it is an auto-response especially for anyone who has ever taken any self defense training. It may sound counterintuitive but punching someone is considered assault whereas a grappling maneuver could be construed as a defensive posture–when in doubt pull in and strike with an elbow but try to avoid the throat.

It sucks,

we are constantly told don’t this or say this because we might offend somebody.

I’ve tried to be somewhat non offensive so far but who cares.

I want to know when all of the sudden it wasn’t considered abnormal to be homosexual.

Taking Religion out of the picture, if you are gay your genetic code isn’t going to make it into the next generation. So then how is that even scientifically speaking, normal behavior.

Be peaceful, be courteous, obey the law, respect everyone; but if someone puts his hand on you, send him to the cemetery. -Malcolm X

What is worse than when homosexuality “passed from abnormality to normalcy” is when someone like yourself will be much maligned for writing what you’ve written.

Giving a blow job to another man is gay.

The other stuff you listed is certainly weird and annoying but not necessarily gay.

I have a few gay friends and they are “hyper-masculine”.

Good quote,

I will interperate what you said to imply that people may respond harshly to me. Like that might offend me. Not really.

Everyone here has the right to think what they want. Just like I do.

They even have the right to say what want. I mean unless your straight and call a fag a fag because then they can sue you. You know, but they can say whatever they want about you.

I’m fed up with this it is ridiculus.

What the hell happened to our once great nation.

We got so interested in everyone elses business we forgot about our own.

When gay people sue when someone calls them a fag, it’s the same as when fat people sue McDonalds, or when someone sued Starbucks because he got burns from spilling coffee.

It’s not being gay that makes those people over reactive greedy assholes. They’re are PLENTY of gay people who wouldn’t sue for being called a fag, or worse. Hell, I know plenty of gay people who just flip the bird at gay-bashers. Only seem to get really offended when someone tries to tell them they’re ‘morally wrong’.

[quote]Beowolf wrote:

Which is funny because if they were inherently gay morality doesn’t play a part, and if they chose, they presumably didn’t choose homosexuality based on morality.

I’m sure plenty of what my wife and I do (or any past partners did) doesn’t necessarily fit the description of ‘morally right’ and morality doesn’t really factor into our decision to do it.

Additionally, for the ‘plenty of gay people who wouldn’t sue for being called a fag’, they are the exception or the silent majority. The existence of “hate crimes” as they apply to gays and the premise of “gay rights” is that being gay somehow affords one greater privilege or legal protection.
