I had testicles pain. Urologist ordered ultrasound and found a testicle that had heterogeneous echotexture. They repeated ultrasound a few times in a year to rule out any tumor growth.
I remember the 2nd time radiologist put in report to check for orchitis. So Dr gave me antibiotics.
Any experience with this? Am thinking I was actually primary hypogonadism not secondary. It appears that a heterogeneous testicle can mean it may not be working well. Though they said blood flow normal.
Well it sparked my interest because it sounded similar to “echogenic kidneys” which was a term I learned before my youngest was born. They didnt know what it meant just that it meant “something”. In the end it meant a non-life threatening kidney condition thank goodness.
Testicles suppose to be homogeneous. So one of my testes is not Smooth. If u look at ultra sound u can see one is smooth other looks like all lines on it. Almost like a shattered look. But u can’t tell if you feel them.
