Not that bad. I would bet the majority of people on this site could not do it.

The collapse at the end is overly dramatic and invites abuse.
Good Point. It almost looked like his dramatic colapse was in slow motion.

Somebody mentioned a squat suit…If he is wearing a suit, is it possible that the suit wont let him go any lower with that amount of weight?

Just thought I’d put things into perspective for those who aren’t up to date on The Adventures of DW in T-Nation.

I’ve seen him at Sherdog and on Marunde’s site as well. He makes his rounds and has become quite the cult personality. He supposedly has mental problems from being in Iraq.
He does make the rounds. He was awarded the 2005 man of the year at another lifting forum. Their attitude was basically “his form sucks beyond all comprehension but he just keeps on keepin’ on”. So they gave him the award.

Wow, how come I didn’t find this sooner. Make sure you click his name (dieselweasel) on the uploader link to see more of his videos. I love it. I’m in love with him.

I don’t want to be another basher here, but this guy reminds me of that dorky guy who always played sports when he was younger and always sucked, but always bought the most expensive equipment, always had two sets of everything, the most cutting edge training tools, etc. etc. and was just in love with the sport.

Unfortunantly for that poor kid he never had an ounce of genetic potential and never made it above the C team. Difficult pill to swallow but one of lifes cruel little jokes nonetheless. At least he has heart.

Video #25. This must be where DW gets his “inspiration”. Kinda cute, eh?

This was damn impressive.
Jesse’s an animal

I watched the video at home last night, and I have to say that his form is nowhere near as crap as it used to be; I’d say it’s pretty decent.

Yeah, too many theatrics at the end, and maybe too much wobble in the second half of the set, but I’d be wobbling too in his situation.
