I wish this news story was getting a lot more attention.
This is the kind of thing I want to celebrate and rally around.
Hero teen gets on bike, tracks down kidnapper and rescues 5-year-old
Temar Boggs was hanging out in his Pennsylvania neighborhood when he heard that officers were looking for a reportedly kidnapped 5-year-old girl. Boggs, 15, and his friends got on their bikes and joined the search. “I had the gut feeling that I was going to find the little girl,” Boggs said.
After first checking the woods and along a creek, Boggs spotted a maroon car that started backtracking through the neighborhood, presumably to avoid a group of officers. He caught up to the car, causing the driver to stop and push the girl out. Boggs scooped her up and delivered her to the police. “I’m just a normal person,” he said. “It was a blessing for me to make that happen”

(CNN) – Two teenage boys are being hailed as heroes after they chased a car carrying a kidnapped girl – on their bicycles.
Five-year-old Jocelyn Rojas was playing in her front yard in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, when she vanished Thursday afternoon.
Authorities believe she was abducted by a man who lured her by offering ice cream.
For two hours, neighbors and police scoured the area and asked if anyone had seen her.
Temar Boggs, 15, and his friend took off on their bicycles to search.
About a half-mile away, they spotted Jocelyn in a sedan. But the driver was elusive.
“Every time we’d go down the street, he’d turn back around, and then … we’ll follow him,” Temar told CNN affiliate WGAL.
The two teens chased the alleged kidnapper on their bikes for 15 heart-pounding minutes. The driver apparently knew he was being followed and gave up.
“He stopped at the end of the hill and let her out, and she ran to me and said that she needed her mom,” Temar said.
Jocelyn’s relatives and neighbors took turns hugging Temar.
“He’s our hero. There is just no words to say,” Jocelyn’s grandmother Tracey Clay said.
Police are looking for the suspect, described as a white male between 50 and 70 years old.
He was driving a reddish-purple or maroon car with round taillights, WGAL reported. The man was wearing green shoes, green pants and a red-and-white striped shirt. He walked with a limp.
Although the suspect remains at large, Temar feels good about finding Jocelyn.
“I just feel like I did something very accomplishing today,” the teen said.
The girl’s parents couldn’t agree more.
Great find.

Isn’t it a shame that is has to be a “find”?
This is what should be national news.

True, but it’s good for a feel good story on the news. The media needs debate to keep people coming back. It is very sad. But I do believe our world has more Great people like these kids than the bad we see on the news.
Sad we don’t hear about it more.

Here on this website is an example. Folks are more tuned in on the bad then what is a great news story about heroic teens. Why do folks focus on the bad?
was front page of AOL and other sites
but alright.
you are right though, it likely won’t get much more media attention… this is because liberals want to portray blacks as violent and incapable of doing good, this way blacks continue to view themselves as this… so we have fewer bill cosbies and more tupacs and racial tension stays alive and well.

Welllll, some just enjoy to Debate. I truly some will pick a side no matter if they agree or not just to flex debating muscles.
Some use this to say things they would never say in public and others just enjoy watching a good fight.
Be we do have some fun threads.

YAY!!! I posted to my Facebook also, thank you for that.
I just want to kinda push for news coverage that shows the real human spirit. We are heroes at heart. Admittedly some dark heroes, but more good heros.
Thanks!
That is amazing!
It is a great find and a really cool thing to see.
Thanks for sharing

Because dividing people, even if you have to fudge the narrative to do it, gives everybody a chance to be an activist.
Anyways, that’s an awesome story.

Why isn’t this nation wide?
Come one do we not have enough folks who want to congratulate some some teens for saving a baby girl?

Because in generalities people would rather hear bad news it makes them feel good about themselves, good news reminds people that they do no good in the world and makes them feel bad about themselves.
Again a generalization, but unfortunately has merit.
