lol seriously–there just isn’t a worse guy to have quoted with a message like that. Probably should have done a background check.
BTW great stuff in this thread. It’s stuff like this [and surprisingly enough, some of the threads HH has started on careers and school] that make this site more than just a lifting board.
woah woah woah, he was murdered but that doesn’t make the message bad.
Yeah but why was he murdered is what makes this quote less than credible. The quote is encouraging people not to look at the consequences of things they’ve done in the past. Don’t look back and over analyze, just move the fuk on? Tupac may still be alive today had he taken the time to look back at the shit he was doing and what the consequences of some of the decision he made in the past would be. He made bold and dangerous decisions and never looked back at the damage they caused or even attempted to make peace with those he hurt, end result… He was murdered.
Don’t wanna offend any of the hardcore tupac fans here, but the guy got what he deserved. Great music tho.

So do you think this applies to everyone? Or do you think the phrase “never look back because tomorrow is done” only applies to some people?
or what about those who spend so much time going over what they did in the past the future goes right on by?
Do you agree with this quote:
Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live.
Adolf Hitler
just a different perspective on the words
I don’t think telling people to NEVER look back is a good idea for ANYONE. Now if he said don’t dwell in the past, I can agree, but living life for the moment and not learning from the mistakes in the past sets you up for failure. We must look back at the mistakes we’ve made in the past, realize our faults and evolve into better people. Don’t just leave the peices of your shambled past on the floor and move on, not realizing why or how those peices got there.
Hitler’s quote is completely different then tupac’s quote so not sure the correlation there, but I still disagree with the quote. Let’s look past who hitler was and look at the quote itself. “Those who do not want to fight… do not deserve to live”.
Now it’s hard to analyze any quote out of context, but I can’t imagine any context that I would agree with the quote. He is stating that certain individuals do not have a right to live. How could I agree with a quote like that? Now the quote was vague in describing what “fight” we are talking about, but seeing as how he said “in this world” I think it’s safe to say he is literally talking about fighting and not emotional or spiritual battles. So pacifists don’t deserve to live? Ghandi, Martin Luther King Jr., Jesus??
