Im not even going to list my old crappy ignorant routine that was pretty much.
Mond - Chest(bb)/Tri/Shoulder
Tues - Back/Bi
We - Legs
Thur -Chest(bb/db)/Tri/Shoulder
Fri- Back/Bi
with a bunch of exercise for each body part and ALOT of reps…it really sucked.
5’9" 199lbs. Do I cut? “Bulk” more?
I just started the Bill Starr 5x5 routine inorder to bulk on some real size.
Is this the right routine or is it more of a sport specific routine? Like a football player routine?
and as for your routine. Its great to know what ur doin on each day but without us knowing what exercise your doing for each body part and set/rep/weight info. no one here can realistically comment on ur routine.

LOL! … that you said you were not going to list your crappy routine!
I find that with weight training, less is more, but only if the weight AND intensity are high.

Dude, he just listed that he trained 5 days a week…his frequency obviously isn’t the problem.
To the OP: Do the 5x5…and check out Madcow’s site if you haven’t already. It has the best info you’ll find on 5x5-based routines.
Eat big, follow JBs 7 habits, and drive the weight up on all your lifts. Putting on muscle is pretty simple, especially when you haven’t built much yet.

What do you mean? How could the weight be high but the intensity low? Intesnity = % 1RM.
