Help with Protocol

I’ve been put up on 100 mg of test cyp with injection of .75ml or 75mg once a week. Im interested in having the least amount of side effects and was looking into doing every day injections. I was thinking about doing 10mg everyday IM. Would this work? Here are my bloods from a month ago.

Testosterone, total 4.27 ng/ml

Testosterone, free 0.11ng/ml

Bioavailable 2.55 ng/ml

Shbg 21.90nmol/L

Here are the ref ranges as well

Test total ref range: 1.75-7.81 ng/ml

Test free ref range 0.043-0.213ng/ml

Bioavailable ref range 1.12-5.50ng/ml

Shbg ref range 13.3-89.5 nmol/l

Your prescribe protocol is lousy, it was my second protocol as well and after 15 weeks I started feeling terrible by weeks end which has to do with me being sensitive to fluctuating testosterone levels. If these is a minor decline in levels, I feel it in a negative way.

Take it from someone who also have low SHBG and has tried everything from weekly, twice weekly, EOD and daily injections, the latter works very well and provides the best results. The daily injections testosterone was higher in relation to estrogen whereas with other protocols (EOD) estrogen was high with testosterone about the same.

TRT will usually lower SHBG which makes daily injections more necessary. I’m one of those few who see an increase in SHBG on TRT wich has to do with what’s suppressing SHBG, insulin resistance and being overweight.

Daily injections should produce the least side effects and push your Free T up and keep it there until your levels are stable at 6 weeks. Guys who inject less frequently will see big fluctuations between injections and if you are sensitive to these fluctuations, well lets just say it’s not fun.

I’m really sensitive to daily dosing, 10mg daily was way too much for me.

@systemlord Thanks for the insight! How would I know if Im sensitive or not? If 10mg is too much, then what are you doing daily? Should I try the 10mg or go lower to start off with. I was planning on doing my first ever injection when I wake up.

I plan on 7mg daily when I restart TRT, you should try 10mg daily until you know how you respond to TRT, it is neither low or high starting dosage and should produce lowest of side effects.

10-12mg daily is a good starting point for first timers. In your next set of labs you need to test for estrogen, this is critical to judging your protocol.

@systemlord okay great thanks! Im excited to start my journey on hopefully reaching my full potential and finally feeling 100%. One last thing, just want to make sure my thyroid level is good.

That look fine, but you want Free T3 midrange or higher, but I’ve seen men do well at this level.

You should test Free T3 against Reverse T3 next chance you get. My Free T3 was 3.6 (2.0-4.4) and I respond well to TRT even with Reverse T3 at 22.6 and with eating healthy and weight lifting brought it down to 17.

You want Reverse T3 <15 ng/dL.
