Pantera: Fucking Hostile

You want specific songs, or artists?

if you are into alt rock you should check out bloc party. They fucking rock. They have some really good beats, lots of uptempo stuff.

Like eating glass is the first song on their album “Silent Alarm” it’s pretty stellar. Other good tracks include Banquet, Helicopter, Positive Tension, Little Thoughts, Price of Gasoline.

Check it out, enjoy.[/quote]

Definately take PharmD’s advice. Bloc Party is great for workouts. I listen to the song “Like Eating Glass” a lot when I workout

“If Only Two” by Unida (from the album Coping with the Urban Coyote)

“50 Million Year Trip (Downside-Up)” by Kyuss (from the album Blues for the Red Sun)

Wolfmother - White Unicorn
Cog - Resonate
Wolfmother - Woman
Wolfmother - Joker and the Theif
Wolfmother - Collosal

The whole Wolfmother self titled CD is gold

Hey hey

Rancid-“David Courtney” (extra cool if your name has four syllables and then you can imagine the song’s about you)

Dropkick Murphy’s-“Barrom Hero” Bagpipes and fightin’…what more do you need?

I can’t help but notice that a lot of these songs are simple “metalish” songs that really have not much talent backing them up. This is a generalization, so that is not true to all of these songs. However, it seems like TC likes a little bit more interesting music, i.e. Louis XIV, a very interesting band. For workouts and also listening, I really like Denmark’s most poplar rock band Mew, and their song “Am I Wry? No”. They are more indie, or whatever you want to call it, but still rock pretty damn hard. And for even more of a pump up, try the original hardcore band, Refused, with their song “New Noise”. That song seems to always get me through a tough dead lift session.

The Advent: Work that body

If you’ve ever seen The Jackal its the song playing in the part where Bruce Willis kills all the agents in that house. Badass song.

Barroom Hero by the Dropkick Murphys.

Nothing like a song about drinking and fighting to make you want to lift weights
