You want specific songs, or artists?
if you are into alt rock you should check out bloc party. They fucking rock. They have some really good beats, lots of uptempo stuff.
Like eating glass is the first song on their album “Silent Alarm” it’s pretty stellar. Other good tracks include Banquet, Helicopter, Positive Tension, Little Thoughts, Price of Gasoline.
Check it out, enjoy.[/quote]
Definately take PharmD’s advice. Bloc Party is great for workouts. I listen to the song “Like Eating Glass” a lot when I workout
I can’t help but notice that a lot of these songs are simple “metalish” songs that really have not much talent backing them up. This is a generalization, so that is not true to all of these songs. However, it seems like TC likes a little bit more interesting music, i.e. Louis XIV, a very interesting band. For workouts and also listening, I really like Denmark’s most poplar rock band Mew, and their song “Am I Wry? No”. They are more indie, or whatever you want to call it, but still rock pretty damn hard. And for even more of a pump up, try the original hardcore band, Refused, with their song “New Noise”. That song seems to always get me through a tough dead lift session.
Children Of Bodom - Sixpounder
Pantera - 5 minutes alone
Hurt - Rapture
System of a Down - Sugar / Toxicity / Psycho / Shimmy / Fuck the system/
Pantera - Respect
Rage against the machine - Vietnow / Snakecharmer
Deftones - 7 words / Root
(And for when your feeling crazy)
Buckcherry - Lit Up
