i agree with you 100 percent…and i plan on doing some cardio , and as many body weight exercises as i can…(im staying at someones house…so there isnt a gym)…
my main concern is food intake…theres alot of food i miss from boston…im going to have to exercise some restraint…but not starve myself either…
i just dont want to start taking in more cals this week then next week taking in a bunch of non quality cals…then coming back all bloated to start bulking up…i appreciatte all the ass kicking im being given
another problem im having is how much to eat…today i ate 3340 cals…wich is 300 plus more than normal…and i did that without trying…i stayed up too late and am really hungry …but dont want to bump the cals too much to start…switching gears is tough
I’ve lost some “fat” this year too and got myself down to a shape that I was more comfortable with.
I’ve now decided that I’m going to do some heavy lifting and sort out my metabolisim as I’m sure 9 months of restricted cals isn’t doing my all that good. So. What I’ve decided to do know is a variation of “Lift heavy & Eat!” In that I’m now lifting heavy and working my way up to what JB suggests is maint for me (it’s around 3k cals a day for me) I’m going to do that until the new year and hopefully I’ll build up some lean mass and whatever else happens happens.
For me I’ve never really had a clue what my maintenance intake is so it’ll be a nice exericse to take. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t look great “Nekid” yet but I know it’s a long process. The only thing I know is that I’m not going to be on of the 95% of people who lose a lot of fat only to bounce it back on again in short order.
So. Once again. Way to go on the fat loss and good luck with whatever you choose to do next.
How long have you been at your current weight? From your orginal post it sounds like you’ve only been down to the weight for about a month.I’m gonna go against what some of the others have suggested.
I think you should try to hold that weight for some time, maybe 3-4 months.Still lift and do some cardio but don’t try to increase cals yet and go on a “bulk”.Let your body adjust, establish a set point.
I’ve been there brother.
First, congratulations on losing that much weight. That is a great achievement. Second, I wouldn’t really be obsessed with losing much more body fat at this point. It looks like you just needs to lift weights and bring your muscle mass up to make you look better. With more muscle at the same bodyfat level you won’t think you are fat and neither will other people.
okay!..so my head is crammed full of knowledge…
sorta…ive been reading al kinds of stuff past few days…

not sure whats gonna happen in boston…ive got a game plan of sorts to try and eat as clean as i can…just dont know if im going to be able to resist…old resturaunts, old friends, old habits…hopefully i can make good choices…kinda hard when my fav spots are pizza and chinese places…but im trying to get laid onthis trip (haha) so i neeed to keep the bloat to a minimum…
