Help Me Increase Size!

good. i was actually hoping i did the calculator wrong.

as far as all the tips on the food, i got my notebook handy and going to start the first of the week fresh with a new eating attitude. i read in one of them links or maybe on a found after searching more, about taking a couple of days to “balance” your self out i think it was.

like no calorie drinks aka water, and some input on some food before you start cramming everything in ya. so i going to check over that again, and try to drink water the rest of the week, and eat more throughout the day than i am now to build up for next week.

one problem with some of them food choices, 10-12 hours a day, i am at work, and we are NOT able to leave anywhere where we cant see the prisoners. which means, i must pack the best selective foods to chow on the whole night that i can fit in a decent size lunch box, and/or thermas.

oh, and i came across this yester day.

I don’t think there’s anything in there that would seriously contradict beliefs expressed here. That having been said, understand that YMMV (your Mileage May Vary). Not everyone produces the same results, and it’s hard to predict where your effort, caloric intake, etc., will take you.

But this is a life-long pursuit. There’s time to try everything and see what works for you.

I think we need to think big and get one of those big picnic/bbq coolers, and fill that shit with hella chickenbreast and jam packed with superpacked tupperware containers.

… the other one is for vegetables fruit and powder … HAHA! hell bring 2 coolers with wheels in either hand… hmm well doesn’t anyone ever get to go to the kitchen? all prisons have kitchens right…? o.O

My recommendation would be to drop the pop and get some liquid meals in. For example, 2 scoops of protein powder, 2 cups of milk, 2 tbs of peanut butter, 1 cup of oatmeal, and 2 tbs of olive oil is about 1100 calories. Try one or two of those a day along with your other food.

You should still have been growing on that amount of food you described.

A poptart would make you grow at 125.

Check your lifting intensity, sleep more and increase portion size.

Look up Berardi’s 7 Habits. I’d follow those, and just eat a ton according to those. Also, on days you’re training, double up on your Surge. For lifting, something with a Westside type influence, like DeFranco’s Westside for Skinny Bastards would serve you well.

Also, for increased food consumption, I’d recommend Omegazyme digestive enzymes and an enteric coated probiotic (take the probiotic first thing in the morning about 10-15 minutes before you eat). If you followed these things, and just bust your ass in the gym, I think you’ll start to see a difference in a few months.

You can take a Nalgene type bottle with a liter or so of water and put four scoops or so of protein powder in it. You can belend in fruit, yogurt, all kinds of stuff.

A tablespoon of olive oil a couple times a day is good too.

Yeah, you definately did those calcs wrong. Try it again and make sure to write everything down and don’t rush through it, it sounds complicated but if you stay on point it’s not that bad.

One thing I haven’t seen (or haven’t noticed) anyone mention is keeping a food log. I’m sure a lot of people here have “out grown” keeping a log but it’s one of the best things to do when you are trying to figure out what works for you. Plus it will help you stick to a routine by keeping yourself accountable. This is the same for a workout log. Jotting down what weight you used, sets, reps, how you felt on a particular day, during a certain exercise, etc. will help you figure out what’s working and what’s not.

What does your workout look like and what progress have you made in the last couple months?

All the food in the world won’t do a damn thing if you’re not progressing every workout.

Can’t say enough good things about this article. If your metabolism is that fast, don’t worry about any fat gain as that will come off super quick later on. Just try this, as it takes care of the feeling full all the time thing too…

Only thing I would say is try to concentrate less on the sugars and more on the bagels, pasta, etc, but if it comes down to missing a meal or having two Cokes, go with the Coke.

I used this diet very successfully while working 70 hours a week and having a poor appetite after having mono. Give it a try.
