I am 43 and have been training for over 20+ years. My problem is that every time I get my b/w tested for testosterone, my doctor tells me my levels are low, but not low enough in his opinion to start TRT. I believe he is wrong.
I am always tired and gains come very hard now days in the gym. I want to find a new doctor, more improtantly, I want to find a doctor that is more sensitive to TRT then my current doctor. Any suggestions.
Also, has anyone every tried Alpha Male - is it worth the money.
Always get and retain copies of your lab reports. Post T levels, total t and free T. Post any other numbers for E2, TSH, T4, FT4, FT3, LS, TSH, DHEA-S or pregnenolone.
Your T might be in low normal range, not below, but you could be estrogen dominant.
Do you have any feelings about dropping hormone levels relative to blow to the head or whiplash?
Many drugs, OTC and scripted, supplements, ephedra and grapefruit can increase E which lowers T, with significant T:E ratio changes.
