Heinz Baked Beans

I am trying to include more beans into my diet and was wondering if Heinz baked are considered as an healthy option.

Below is an extract of the nutrtional info on the label:-

Doesnt look bad. Im not too familar with modified cornflour.

Just make some chilli.

It may be hard to get but Bush’s baked beans (from the US, but I can get them here in Taiwan) are better than Heinz’s. Better in taste I mean.

buy some beans n boil em . there so easy leave em in water for a few hours then put em in some fresh water n boil em fast for about 30 mins change the water again n simmer them for about 45 to 60 mins . they freeze ok aswell so you dont have do keep doin them do a big lot at once n freeze them in 100/200g amounts .

Is this a joke thread?

What do you mean?

Do you think baked beans are so unhealthy that asking about them on a chicken breast and broccoli site is nuts or that fried chicken and pizza is good for bulking so of course beans are OK type of thing?

No, I was genuinely asking. Just because it seemed a bit of a strange question.

I like that you cited two hypothetical extremes of opinion that I could be coming from. I am from neither but more of a middle ground, my opinion on it is basically- they’re food, eat as one part of a varied diet. Sorry if it seemed like I was belittling the OP, it was not my intention

^ No problem…it’s sometimes hard to tell where people are coming from here sometimes.
