Questions that I don’t think I understand: (x) why and (y) how re you deadlifting 600+ when you need back surgery? The why is easier to explain insofar as you’re obviously very dedicated and want to maintain your strength, but I guess I have a hard time with the how when I consider how hard it is for me to deadlift when I’m injured in any way, much less if it’s something with my lower back.
Well, it might be because I don’t need back surgery. I really am getting some tumors removed. I won’t be able to lift heavy for a few weeks.
I have been having an issue with my QL’s being extremely tight. It sucks and it hurts when I train. The how I keep goin is pretty easy: I really don’t fucking care how I feel. This issue in my back has started spilling over into everyday life stuff. There is no reason why rolling over in bed at night should hurt. So, it is time to get it fixed.
I am kinda at a standstill right now because I need to get that surgery done and I don’t want to start physical therapy just to have to immediately take a break from it for 2+ weeks because I am recovering. Hence, cancelling my trip to the Arnold this year (which is killing me inside). So, I will start PT in march sometime, get better, train for (hopefully) raw nationals this summer, and go wreck shit like I never have before.
My back has been a mild issue for years. It will be scary once I get it under control.
just so we’re clear…you’re getting back surgery?
hahahahahaha
sucks about tumors, I guess arnold was wrong. keep the pain pills for later and use makers 46 as the only pain med you use
Hahaha. It’s only Maker’s 46 when they are out fo regulat Maker’s.
if only they had the mint julep in MD, i had a friend ship me a bottle once. De-fucking-licious
