Good luck at the meet man, hope you hit some PRs! Thanks for all the tidbits you post here, on your blog and in the PL forum. Its awesome to be able to read great information like that. Looking forward to your westside thread in the PL forum as well!
x2 what’s normally going through your mind come meet day?
Ha. A whole lot of nothing. I am not one of those assholes pacing around, not talking to anyone, grunting to myself, and a lot of the other stupid stuff people do at meets. I like to totally dissocaite myself from the actual lifting until its time to compete. Everyone is different. This works well for me. I’ve always been like this though. Even with football and pretty much everything else competetive I’ve ever done.

99% of meet day for me is spent joking around and talking to other people. When I actually get on the platform and under the bar its like a switch flips and all hell breaks loose in my head. It’s hard to explain. A mix of feeling “in the zone” and feeling what a viking must have felt like while swinging an axe into someones head.

Awesome job on landing the eliteFTS freelance spot.

Did you get my PM back? I was just wondering if I sent it wrong or something because I never seem to be able to send PMs back and forth to anyone.
