How is the ART going?
dude, i have not been able to get back in to see him, he is ALWAYS booked, and the only ART guy in town. I got a regular massage for a therapist, and wifey did my neck once. so the soft tissue therapy you recommended is not happening as frequently as you or I would like. ![]()
Great log HT. BTW thanks for reminding me why I don’t go to the BB section anymore.

thanks, I am still arguing with a couple of dudes in that thread, they are accusing me of trolling and hijacking the thread, I keep offering to continue debating with them via PM, as to NOT derail the thread anymore, but they still only want to bicker with me on the open thread.
logic fail: they hate me because I am derailing a thread, but refuse to discuss their differences with me via pm, and continue to hijack a thread arguing with me on it.
Good log, I’m learning a lot about rehab in here so I appreciate you posting this up for us all to read.
Don’t bother to go into the other forums. It’s about post count not actual accomplishments and you nailed it when you talked about big fish / little pond. But this is the internet so a certain amount of that is to be expected I suppose. Luckily this sub-forum seems to be pretty a$$hole free for whatever reason.

He is an ER nurse.
damn I came here to see (another) shorty rehabbing his neck
I got a med procedure lesson
and remembered again why I blocked the bb forum.
Its sad about the BB forum Im kinda not a fan of BB -
but I dont mention it much everyone likes different stuff.
what is strange is the Dogg crapp types have more civil stuff to say
I know Colin, I keep saying to myself “this is my last post over here” and some new douchbag puts in his worthless 2 cents in, and I get sucked in again.
I am an ED advanced practice nurse, I say that because due to my certs, I can do a lot of stuff that is usually reserved for PA’s or even MD’s, like central line placement using ultrasound guidance(PICCS, external jugulars), IO placement, intubation, laceration/open wound infiltration and staple closure, etc.
K, got my traction device on now…if that helps get the thread back on topic…lol

Ok, thanks. I am a specialist nurse in a hospital at night (acute care) team. Do a lot of specialist stuff too like abg’s, verification of deaths etc. We are just about to get trained to place picc or midlines.
not much to report cept I have recently had a falling out with my HRT doc, so I am currently “supplement free” as of the last month, feeling terrible, looking at other options.
weigh barely 216lbs, I am smaller and flabby, strength, endurance, sex drive, sleep patterns, and mood(depression) have all went to shit lately…
on the bright side, since i have not been training with anything resembling real weights, or intensity, my neck feels much better.
While this was from training a while back, when you do arms as a “bodybuilding day,” do triceps first, when you do biceps first and get a pump going, you cannot get as good a stretch or ROM in your triceps.
Just my two cents, hope things continue to get better
thanks big man, I usually do alternating biceps/triceps exercises when I do bodybuilding arm routines.
I am just too lazy to type the A1 A2 B1 B2 stuff.
went to my first ART appointment last week-
just a temporary guy as this guy takes no insurance
just cash.
inch thick stacks of it.
anyway this was prompted by a big neck flair up
cuz I thought I might try to bench duh.
due hooked me Up
felt great , still feeling good
glad you are feeling better K, I enjoy lurking your training log.
